Frog Lake Career Exploration and Job Readiness Program

The Career Exploration and Job Readiness (CEJR) Program being run by Portage College in Frog Lake First Nation is a value to community and student growth. We spoke to students, instructors and work placement partners about their experience with the CEJR program.
This program focuses Frog Lake First Nation students on identifying their personal strengths, values and interests. Discovery of self assists in choosing a career path and life direction with confidence. Career Exploration and Job Readiness learning activities are supported by personal assessments, information research, resume writing and creation of an employment portfolio.

This is very awesome to see how everyone changed, apologize that I couldn't continue to be part of the program in person. I have learned a lot when it comes to budgeting and working through problems with current and past coworkers. This program has helped me focus on the important things like character development, social intellect, and finding what makes me a great hard worker.
