Mooer Drummer X2 | THE drum pedal?

- This drum machine pedal from Mooer, the Drummer X2 has great drum sounds and i think the snare and high hats are sounds that make or break a drum machine, the snare isn't regulated either it plays different snare hits in the loop. Perfect for acoustic guitar live use, guitar studio practice or gigging bands who don't have a drummer.
It also has 11 genres with 11 patterns in each genre all with fills and end sequences as well as a tap tempo, stereo in's and out's and an editor software making it really flexible.
As an Amazon associate i earn a small commision should you buy the product without it costing you any extra:
Mooer Drummer X2: amzn.to/3KB1Gwo

Thank you for this! Just ordered it. 🎉
Beat buddy wipes the floor with this and it nearly 10 years old
For 4x the price it should
Who asked you.
@@son0fsocalnothing wrong with letting people know that he finds the Beat Buddy to be a superior product. I read comments to get honest opinions like that.
Pretty cool pedal and a pretty good value for $170 bucks. BTW, that Taylor sounds killer. Cheers!
Cheers Brad! It’s a pretty cool thing!
Years ago, Bill Bruford record. ded a DVD containing all of his famous drum and percussion sounds, including that instantly recognizable snare sound. I think the idea back then was to let you import his sounds into your DAW. But it would be very cool if one of these drum pedals let you import sounds in the same way.
That was what attracted me to the pedal, the snare sound, it was unlike anything I’ve heard so far, thanks for watching!
Very cool! I have a Boss pedal that has drum loops and a looper function. It sounds great, but you're limited to one loop at a time and it costs considerably more. Thanks for the video, I'll be checking this out further. 👍
Cheers for watching! And thanks for the comment and feedback 👍
Nice sounding pedal, great video, thanks.
But why are these devices built like floor pedal/stomp boxess when you need to have them at the desk top or on a mic stand in order to manipulate all the options? This needs another foot pedal to manage the stops and starts and tap ins.
Thanks for the comment! There is an expression pedal connection but I didn’t get to try it out, maybe the user manual will explain, cheers
GOOD JOB .....Muy buen video amigo , el sonido es muy parecido a una batería real .....Quiero comprar ese pedal ....muchas gracias por la información ....
Saludos desde Chile .....
Thank you! I appreciate your kind words!
The one i love first song
Yes!!!! Well spotted!
Good information. Cheers. I hadnt heard of this pedal. Must be quite new?
Thanks man! I think it is quite a new pedal
Is there any way to adjust the velocity/ Dynamics or change drums with a switch or is it just hard hits ?
Thank you
There isn’t a way to do this, thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
In the Drummer X2 software, you can switch song banks. When switched, the LED on the sides changed colors. How do you do that switching song in the pedal? Thanks
I'm not sure as i'm on a Mac and couldn't download the software!
Does anyone feel like some of the fills don’t go smoothly with the beat? Or sound kind of sped up?
Funny you've got the NUX amp like I do, and it's got just a tiny few drum samples built into the amp. I'm hoping NUX is going to come up with an update that includes more robust drum samples. I've got a Beat Buddy because there's nothing else that really comes close, although the Trio is interesting for different reasons.
NUX is trash. I got the Boss Katana Go and it blows it away.
That's the worst pedal ever... It's even toxic to you Bro.
ca you save to a setlist ? so it an be used live in a reasonable way, and will it save the teomp, too ?
Great question, and no answer yet.
Hello there, Is it possible starting creating the rhythm giving the information strumming by the guitar? So the drum pedal plays the rhythm on the fly? Thank you
That would be amazing! And I’m sure it’ll come eventually but not on this version, thanks for watching!
I have noticed that the Digitech trio+ and the Sdrum has got this opportunity, thought if it might be any better type of drum pedals having this possibility, Thanks a lot for your quick reply. @@DerekPaulGuitar
No problem! I think drum units are coming a long way now! Cheers
can we add switch pedal for this? for changing patterns. Thank you
As far as I remember yes you can, thanks
Can i plug this directly into my 24 tracker and record the drums for a song that way?
Yes you can indeed, thanks for watching!
@@DerekPaulGuitar cool, thanks for the quick reply.
Is this better than a beat buddy pedal?
Thanks for watching, I haven’t tried one to be honest so I’m not sure
I wish it had a bass and looper. You can't even sync to the looper X2 pedal.
That would be amazing if it has bass and could sync or even had a looper, maybe mooer will work on something for the future
Mohu zapojit do Roland AC 33 ???
Yes you can, thanks!
@@DerekPaulGuitar děkuji mnoho
I want to get one, but I worry I'm not smart enough to use it. Thanks for you video.
Honestly, it’s a simple thing, it’ll take you 5 minutes to figure it out :) thanks for watching!
Pretty easy definitely get one, I just did recently and though I haven’t had a chance to use jamming on guitar I did plug it in and got a feel for it first
Run it through a BASS amp.
Sounds more dual mono to me...🤔🧐
Great piece of gear, when it works correctly I guess? Mine refuses to connect into my Device Manager rendering the software and Editor absolutely useless. Will not connect to the Editor alone and zero through Win 11 Device Manager so merely an overpriced metal box with cute lights right now. Went through ALL of the USB connection steps as well to make sure it wasn't my computer. Incredibly disappointed at this point!
Feeling as though I should have spent the extra money and purchased the Beat Buddy instead.
Thanks for the feedback! I’m sure it’ll help others and hope you get it figured out!!
Almost All overplaying . Maybe with the software & some computer skills one could simple-down some of the crazy playing. I dont know any bands that play like this pedal other than maybe 2 of the settings.
Thanks for the comment!
sounds like a drum machine from 1994
hmmm.... maybe like FALL of 94 though....
$280aud
She should learn to do hallos correctly. She looks like she is doing the Elaine dance.
That dance is called "Little Kicks" 👍
Here’s my gripe
These pedals always sound like a drummer that’s trying to show off
Rarely is it what the song needs
BOOM - CHICK
BOOM-BOOM-CHICK
OR
BOOM-CHICK-BOOM-BOOM
That’s what 90% of commercial songs are or need
there always has to be some Neil Peart doing the programming for these.
I didn’t hear one regular drum beat in the demo
Unfortunately I can't buy Mooer pedals because of the logo. The broken O's look kinda like G's and the M kinda looks like NI and it makes me uncomfortable, and to be honest I'm surprised I don't hear many other people bring this up.
This is either the most insane take in all of history, or a top-level troll. Hilarious either way 👍🏻
These days it’s hard to tell if this is satire or not which is really sad. Really hoping it’s satire.
Edit: looked at dude’s profile and he wasn’t trolling. Pure soy.
