On a journey to find a looper to capture ideas, and even inspire new ones, led a deep dive into both popular and lesser-known devices. In this video we get an overview of the Mooer Groove Loop X2. We will listen to a quick performance demo, review standout features, and look at the strengths, limitations, and frustrations you might encounter.
For the demo, what you hear is an unaltered guitar signal straight into the looper, and then into a MOTU M4. The only alterations are use of limiting and volume tweaks as needed for optimal UA-cam playback.

Great question! This one is not. I believe it has to do with how it captures and plays back loops. If it were there might be a slight hiccup or delay when recording or beginning playback.
