- If you’re about to venture into the vast, exciting and dangerous world of Aeon Trespass: Odyssey (the epic cooperative 1-4 player board game, from Into the Unknown), then this video is for you. It provides a high-level overview of gameplay, introduces a few fundamental rules, and offers an ideal foundation from which new players will be able to explore the rules in more depth.
If you're wanting to dive deeper into the rules, here a couple of videos from other UA-camrs:
Hekaton Battle Video (by Five of Clubs):
• Simpleton Solo's - Aeo...
How to Play AT:O - Part 1 (by Lone Vik):
• How to Play #43.1 - Ae...
Thanks to Bartek & Into the Unknown for providing feedback, corrections and images for this video, without which this video would not exist. Thanks to Blender Foundation, & FXHome, for general awesomeness.
These game companies need to hire you to do these for them!! These are amazing!!!!
I was just searching for a video series much like Oathsworn Training Camp, and lo and behold, here you are again Jeremy, doing the work of the people. You are a legend!!!
Thanks, Trent. I've been enjoying the fantastic mini painting over on your channel, too. (I just need to be braver about splashing paint all over my pristine minis!)
My thoughts exactly!
Fantastic guide. I appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos, they are very high quality and super useful. Thank you ☺️
This is so useful. Thank you so much for doing them, they help the board gaming community more than you know!
Hopefully we’ll see more ATO videos in the near future.
As usual the production value is through the roof and off to outer space. In its sidecar, the high quality and accessible guidance joined the ride.
Thank you for never disappointing and always delivering a sensational and valuable video.
Merry Christmas!
I'm so happy you're making videos for ATO!
This is great beginners guide! I have played through the learn to play twice now trying to prepare to play with some friends soon and I will be telling my friends to watch this to help smooth out some of the bumps and have a good understanding of the basic concepts of gameplay. Thanks!
As always, amazing, super well produced videos. Also waiting for this beauty of a game.
Really, bravo for the production quality and thoughtful script. Are you considering a full rules video for this game?
Thanks for the positive feedback. My plans for 2023 are still up-in-the-air, but the links in the description (Lone Vik and 5 of Clubs) are highly recommended. Happy travels!
@@adventuresincreativesoftwa6283 thanks. Again your videos are quite impressive, the effort in editing and creating the art. The ISSV one, wow, creating all the cards not to spoil anything! And some quite hilarious!
I liked your oathsworn vidéos, thanks.
Awesome video. Thank you very much.
Another awesome video. Very helpful, comprehensive and polished.
This is amazing just got through the tutorial and this is so helpful! Cleared up many things, thank you thank you! I subscribed will you be doing more of these for aeon trespass:)
Thanks for the feedback, glad it was helpful. The possibility of more AT:O content is under consideration, but in the meantime there are some links to other helpful vids in the description.
Cardbordius!! Hilarious!!
Thanks for the video! You may wanna check your Windows, is always loading.
Excited to get our copy
Amazing quality video, very well done. I feel like this game is quite more involved than Oathsworn. Very daunting...
Yeah, Oathsworn is far from simple, but this game is at another level of complexity.
@@adventuresincreativesoftwa6283 do you intend to create more videos for ATO?
@@JoostN86 I'm not sure yet, but there are a couple of links to other helpful videos, in the description.
Thanks for the shout-out to my videos :)! Yours, as always, are fantastic! I'm going to try to create at least one more AT:O video which embodies the current ruleset and makes the combat even more digestible than my original (I've learned a few things since making the original set, haha).
Once again, great video!
Thanks for the feedback, and your excellent content. That's great that you'll be making an updated combat video - that will be a real boon for AT:O players.
Awesome, any chance you'll be doing more in depth videos for Aeon Trespass? The Oathsworn ones were fantastic.
Thanks. At this point, future videos haven't been decided on.
@@adventuresincreativesoftwa6283 dooooooo it! (In meek voice, please?)
Ok what is this video :O is this collaboration with ITU? Its absoulutelly amazingly done
I too came here because of the oathsworn vids. This is awesome
I drew the Hernia trauma card during my first session!
Amazing video, as usual. The only thing you could enhance would be your audio... it sounds like your AC is audible every time you start talking.
Thanks, I'll try to improve that in future.
Thank you very much for the outstanding production quality!
Extremely informative, entertaining and funny!
I truly hope you will receive a kingly commission for making a multi part, detailed rules and gameplay guide for kingdoms forlorn when it arrives! (Similar to Oathsworn).
As well as for other complex board games that have your interest :-)
All the best and keep it up =)
Thank you, this is a great primer. Except the audio recording quality Everything else is professional level stuff. Amazing you aren't getting paid for this
Great video guys!
Fantastic video, thanks!
This and the Oathsworn training camp is just absolutely incredible. It’s baffling how this channel isn’t an official rules channel that these publishers outsource to. I feel like they’re really not using your amazing content to their best advantage. As a game designer, I’d want those videos to be one of the first things people see when promoting my game. These helpful videos can excite people while showing the actual gameplay people would ultimately immerse themselves with. Rant over, but in all seriousness I truly hope you make more of these for games like Frosthaven, KDM, and/or other heavyweight games. Thanks so much for all the work you put into this.
Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! Shadowborne & ITU have been helpful and encouraging, but most developers won't respond, even when I offer them free video content. Which - not gonna lie - can be disheartening. I'm currently working on more videos, hoping to boost subscribers, because it seems like that's what devs care about.
All the best with your own board game creations. :-)
@@adventuresincreativesoftwa6283 It’s a hard skill to cover rules in a succinct way that isn’t redundant but also gives players enough info that covers every possible scenario and outlier. These videos are a paramount companion to some of these rule books given how crunchy they are. Plus so many visual learners would benefit from videos like this over a rule book. It’s also easier to follow your animation style than watching a let’s play where someone might have to hold up components to a camera to get a better visual. Although it’s super late, I’m thrilled I discovered this channel.
TLDR: this should be an official board game rules channel. Just my two cents :)
So many puns but all dry as fuck lol
when is the next video coming out?
Wow, I wasn't expecting much but the production quality of this video is amazing. Just a bit a humor, not too much, is always welcome, I like the balance! Subscribed :)
Such a good video, with excellent graphics and descriptions. I loved the Hernia card. I can certainly empathise.
Thank you!That's a lot of work.Enjoy the game !
Thanks
Yet another great video, thanks for your effort!
Great video!
Love it !!!
