For my 4.0 run, I don't like resetting for eggs, so I use Leftovers+Annihilape, Dry Skin+Heliolisk, Eviloite+Proygon 2, and Black Sludge+Clodsire most of the time to get me through the whole my nuzlocke. Radical Red is good at buffing pokemon that need it like the time I soloed an ace trainer mini boss with a Nasty Plot+Thievul. I loved that Encore+Sitrus Berry+Check Pouch+Maushold helped me through Witney and Bugsy in the early game. Also, I wanted to pick a starter that could help me in the early an mid game, so I went with Sheer Force+Totodile, rather than fishing for a hidden ability. In all, Radical red 4.0 is epic 😁
meowscarada is really good in this game ,in my run it single-handedly took out erika's entire team with a combination of acrobatics, cut(steel type move),shadow sneak and it was consistently good throughout the entire game . protean is such a fun ability i wish it didn't get nerfed

When I did my first 4.0 Radical Red run with only using Paldea Pokémon, I used Meowscarada and Baxcalibur in my E4/Champion team too (I also used Seviian Milotic in one of the Monotype Challenges I did in Radical Red). Though I know Mystic excluded Paradox Pokémon, but Iron Hands is an incredible Pokémon to use late-game with its incredible physical prowess, holding an Assault Vest helps it take Special Attacks well, and reliable recovery in Drain Punch (it is catchable by Safari Zone)

I'm a bit disappointed you didn't mention Galarian Darmanitan. With his huge buff in radical red (turns in zen mode as soon he enters the battle) he's literally a 160 attack pokémon with monstrous 135 speed. He practically outspeeds one-shots every single pokémon in this pokémon league. Absolutely insane

This was a quality video and exactly what I was looking for.
A mon that I found was very good was Seviian Lokix being a fast bug, dragon type with tinted lens. With a moveset of lunge, first impression, dragon claw and axe kick. It can deal with anything that isn't a fairy type
It’s so fun to see all the different teams we all use. I’ve been using seviian mantine in my run (just got to cinnabar)

My starter was Mudkip. Did a lot of rotating during my playboy between each gym, rival, and boss battle. Then the Elite Four I ended up (First time) using Swampert, Mega Charizard Y, Tinkaton, Annihilape, Overqwil, and Farigiraf. Then I restarted after losing to Lance so many times was Swampert, Mega Charizard Y, Glimmora, Gholdengo, Iron Valiant, and Malamar.
Radical Red 4.1 just came out with the new mons from the Scarlet & Violet DLC

There's a Johto Romhack similar to Radical Red called Grueling Gold based off the Gen 2 remakes which I can't wait to play. Meganium gains the Fairy type just like in this rom hack

Kricketot is probably the best early game encounter. It can solo Falkner, almost solo Brock, solo team rocket in Mt Moon and do work against Misty.
Would love to see a best team for Elite redux. It’s basically radical red in hoenn, but every Pokémon has 4 abilities, making it way more fun to explore the new and different abilities for teammaking
Use weavile, thats basically it. play it with fake out, power up punch, bite and triple axel.

This game is really hit or miss for me. Sometimes a lot of fun and random, other times laggy and frustrating
You can use these:
• Yanmega (252 speed, 252 spc.atk)
- Tinted Lens (makes "not very effective" moves hit with normal damage)
- Speed Boost (use detect at the first turn and whenever you can to boost speed if you don't want to get damaged)
- Hyper Aggressive that makes the move hit twice
- Predator (use a life orb)
Moveset: Detect, Bug Buzz, Air Slash and whatever you want (you can use Giga Grain)
• Bronzong (244 def and spc.def, 22 hp and 0 speed with IVs)
- Lead Coat
- Steel Spirit
- Heatproof
- Bulletproof
Moveset: Protect, Toxic, Gyro Ball and Recover
And as a Mega-evolution you can have Mega-Dewgong (I won't explain more but you can see it by yourself).

Triage (Tree-ahj) is the step in medicine to determine vitals upon entering a hospital. It's like a preliminary screening. Makes sense for it to prioritize healing moves on Meganium.
Triage is the process of determining the priority of casualtys/patients and sorting them appropriately.

Every run I've ever done of Radical Red 4.0 so far, my team core has always been Infernape, Ludicolo, and Flygon. I never really bother setting up with Hazards or Stat boosts, but I've still had a fairly easy time with the ROM hack using those three at the least.

It is fun. It has dexnav, special physical split, every mon from each gen apart from some legendaries that are unobtainable, you can choose difficulty settings, you can choose whether or not for your playthrough to be a randomizer.

The way I've used it is to tank a hit for a free switch in, so I let my tank take the hit, use teleport, then safely swap in whatever I need to :))

as i was new to generation i smacked some random pokemons in my team like my starter was ofc sprigatito i forgot to give it ha later on weakness policy multiscale dragonite, at almost end of the game caught a iron valiant before that i was using a mimikyu, depending on battle a lifeorb/blaziknite blaziken with speed boost, metagrossite/lifeorb metagross and a gliscor with toxic orb later on replaced by chien pao cause i wanted to get more fond of new gen pokes

Treage not triage when spoken. It's the thing they do to sign you in to the hospital. Bellibolt is amazing and really powerful if you use charge with his ability to get crazy damage in 1 setup round instead of 2 or 3 you would need with the stat boosters

I think the only starter that's more dominant in its game than skeledirge is infernape because it is completely irreplaceable in Sinnoh especially in DP whereas meowscarada is very solid
Swampert, sceptile, venasaur, and incineroar aren't bad options either and I personally loved my playthrough with empoleon

Electromorphosis is way better than Bellibolt’s other abilities since it buffs the damage of Parabolic charge which means more HP regain. To change abilities, you can obtain ability pills along your journey or buy one in the celadon city mall.
Gen 9 mons made almost all pokemon that came before need another evolution just to keep up

He said by this point in the story at Vermillion City you have access to a prisim scale as far as I know the earliest one is Celadon am I missing one.
Do you play on min grind mode? How do you have all 31 ivs with all perfect evs too?
There's an NPC in either Saffron or Celadon who you can pay to max out IVs in a stat and a guy in Lavender who helps with EV training and EXP grinding.
How do you make sure you get the right mon from these eggs? I got a spinda from my cerulean egg…
He’s playing on a casual playthrough so the method is by resetting the game if you don’t get the Mon you want. Good luck if you are nuzlocking!

Just wait till celadon. You can't get baxcalibur till then anyway since the level cap.

@@fink7968 I prefer the mold breaker set with the scarf helped a bunch vs the mimikyu u have to fight because it bypasses its ability so that swords dance it does is completely useless. That route with the sand rush mons is s cakewalk and it's genuinely bailed me out of some bad situations as a very good speed check. If u are gonna use sand rush pair it with a t tar or hippo or even gliscor for the ground immunity and u can pivot into drill on ice moves. But I definitely think the mb scarf set is better

I was able to catch one on route 25. Right after beating misty
ive had pelliper and ludicolo in my team for the entire run im currently doing. rain teams are busted but i also wanted to try stuff like mega toxtricity cause its a Radical red excusive.
Rain teams as well as sun teams are BROKEN, hence why in hardcore you cant really use them at all, same for set up moves which makes the game 100x harder

I’m using Ceruledge because mine has the ability weak armor which is pretty good and with phantom force and bitter blade it’s good
What is another good Pokémon besides bellbolt that can replace it
Gambit is honestly so great in this game too, the amount of times I could've lost but I had my Suckerpunch Bisharp/Gambit is insane. While yes, outside of Sabrina and Misty's starmie it doesn't provide any use for the rest of the gym leaders/story but it effectively hits everything neutrally hard if it doesn't resist fully invested kowtow kleave or suckerpunch with the Sunglasses item.

From my experience if you get loreleis water team you just straight up wipe so if you do, you should definitely change your whole team
