q is a magazine show that’s unpredictable in the best sense - proud to be “a wild mix of culture by way of Canada” as described by the New York Times. The Globe & Mail noted the show’s “raging popularity across a variety of platforms -- podcasts, television, websites, satellite radio, terrestrial radio, and occasional live remote broadcasts."

WHAT A GREAT INTERVIEW. SO RELAXED AND NOT 'DONE FOR THE CAMERAS' NONSENSE. BUT HE WAS GREAT IN JEFF BECK'S GROUP. LIKE ME, ROD IS AN INTERNATIONAL, WHO LOVES HIS SCOTS/ENGLISH ROOTS, AND ANY OTHERS HE CAN GRAFT INTO THE TREE OF LIFE.

Rod is absolutely correct, everyone and their Grandmother plays guitar. In the 60s and 70s, it was not easy to save up for a guitar and that’s how bad you wanted it.

Wrong Rod and keep in mind that iiiiiiiiiiii looooooooooovvvvvve youuuuuuu. The reason critics were hard on you in the 80s and 90s was not because of your lifestyle. Ev in that time was crazy. Madonna was way over the top. Cher too. All the bands in the middle of the mtv generations were nuts in their lifestyle. And it added to theor images not detracted. The reason your career dipped during that time and the reason the critics hated your middle career is because you weren't living up to your potential as a songwriter. Everything you had done up to human was your own style. Human sorry. ...sucked. Then you started releasing one after another greatest hits and one after another remakes etc. Ev thought you were just plugging all trying to stay relevant. The american songbook standards were done so well that it redeemed you. But your real redemption has been these most recently grownup new original albums where you told your own story again. We love you and we always did but we worried for a while.
