Getting pestered for drugs every 10 feet at night is a nuisance. Best places are around the strip not on it.
Safer than most Saturday nights in any city centre in UK. Don't know why people should feel unsafe or be worried or be peoples worst nightmare

Been going to benidorm for 40 years but it's far to busy for us now. 😢
Never been there but love Majorca,..Maybe go over the winter when its less crowded but still nice weather?!

I used to love Benidorm and been going for many years I went to turkey few years ago and I wouldn’t go back to Benidorm again as it’s become too rowdy and literally can’t move in many bars,I prefer turkey now and it blows Benidorm out of the water
Red Lion has a bad reputation. Never go to the strip at night. Great during the day. Plenty of other places in the Rincon area.
Why? Please explain. I have never been down the strip but I want to visit.
@@danm9319 the strip as a whole is fine at night. A lot of drugs being pushed but just say no and walk on, they're not aggressive about it. They all want you in their bars and have people offering free shots and 2-4-1 deals.
The red lion though is infamous for the brutality of the bouncers, scum bags. But just avoid that bar and there are no issues. they tend to mainly target young lads who've had a few too many, but they're very unpredictable. There are so many great bars to go in so it's easily avoidable.

It’s fantastic been with family all week on the strip with no issues !! My only gripe would be the ‘ Charlie ‘ being shoved in your face wherever you go but just say NO firmly and they leave you alone just be sensible and it’s a great atmosphere 🎉🎉
Don't know if its just the time of year but the Benidorm strip is turning into the new Magaluf. Awash with drugs and pissed up youngsters. Centre/Old Town for me now.

We love Benidorm. For anyone being put off by British Square/Strip, don't be. It's easily avoidable and the town is beautiful. The old town with Tapas Alley and Gin & Tonic street, lots of good smaller bars and restaurants and a very Spanish vibe. This area is only a small part of Benidorm and unfortunately people see this side of Beni and think it's all like this. It really isn't Balcon de Medditerano is a great place for a sunset pic with musicians adding to the atmosphere. Then there's the Poniente end, beautiful beach with a local vibe and chilled out bars and restaurants. Lots of nice small towns close by to visit like Altea and Albir and others. British Square is the Rincon end with Levante beach, and thats all. 👍🙂

First time I have been in the same place as you at the same time. Got back today after 2 weeks there. Watched the Fury fight in the Western Saloon & spent most evenings in there. Will have to watch the daytime Vid now and see if I make a cameo appearance 😊

It is true, you can't hear a thing when you stay in the Don Pancho. All the rooms face towards the beach, and it is as if the strip doesn't exist. Lovely hotel and I like the Presidente. Both excellent. Stayed in many others, but I like these two the best.

Hey Kev, just wanted to say a big thank you for all the effort you make for us viewers back home in the UK. I enjoy tuning in to all your uploads daily and love going down the strip to see what it’s like as I have never been to Benidorm before. Since watching your content you make me want to immediately book holidays to visit here. Your such a bad influence 🤣🤣🤣🤣 can I ask a question though, I’m more into nightclubs that have abit of house and garage music, do they have any of them on the strip or is it solely tribute act places and general pubs? I’m 45 but I still feel like I’m 21.

Great video. Lets be honest without the camera how many times were you offered "Charlie" i was there over the last bank weekend and "Charlie" was name checked about 20 times a night.
Much same as any other strip I visit you will be offered all sorts no doubt I just say no and move on no probs.
@@ScotsmaninTenerifethere was no problem to me personally but it's gets boring after a while. In the UK its nowhere near as overt as in Benidorm, it seems the police are complicit in the problem with the drugs.

Benidorm old town may be better, lively but not manic like this part. Easy to travel between the two and see what you think of both parts, We stick to the old town this part....not for us.
Few family bars in rincon , tropical and sinatra premium . Video soon by them but it's ten min from strip

May stay in Old town and stay well clear of the strip! My sister and hubby stayed in Beni years ago and said wouldn't go back. Reason - all the smokers, they said their clothes stank of smoke and they had to air them on balcony! Where is smoking allowed now and is it a problem for us healthy people?? 😉

Are you serious? You would go to Benidorm cos of the smokers? You get smokers everywhere in the UK on the weekends from all the pubs and clubs, does that mean you’ll never leave your house again?

Absolute nonsense! Just because they are enjoying themselves differently from how you would doesn't mean it's not acceptable or not a good night out. All of those properties are Spanish owned and employ people paying into the Spanish system. You think they want tourists gone? Don't believe the crap you read in the media. Everyone looks for something different when they travel. Stop being a snob because they ain't the same as you.
Stick to our local and 10pm bedtime, or sing to 500 people and bring the house down, a rush like nothing else. i know which id prefer. 50 shades of people.
