McFarlane toys seem to be churning out 100+ figures a year but the cq issues seem to slip through the abbs are my main bug bear my main upset was the mega fig manbat and his ankles are too loose so he falls over all of the time cos he's top heavy mega fig clayface articulation in the elbows and wrist seem glued and a hell of alot of hot water later and it started to move them. When you pay a high price for a mega fig or any of the DC multiverse line you expect nothing but quality but the cq issues put people off I held off with this line cos my mate got the batwing and batman, for one McFarlane has put a plastic tag through the cape leaving a visible hole and he's the Jim Lee batman not the super powers costume and you was lucky my mates had 2 batwing and he pressed the button once and the canopy flew off.
That sucks. They have them in stock at Walmart. You could go get a new one and just return the old one. McFarlane isn't known for their customer service or I'd suggest contacting them.
I get the feeling neither Walmart nor McFarlane cares about whether their customers get a Batwing that breaks. We’ve seen that also with Target and McFarlane when the Year 2 Batman came out and the arms breaking off on about 50% of those figures. Did Todd issue any kind of statement that he was aware of the issue and addressing it to prevent further problems down the line? Nope
Yeah, breaking is what McFarlane Toys does second best. They have way too much product out to be concerned about whether something they already sold is defective. Drop in the bucket for McFarlane, drop in the ocean for Walmart.
I tried several and they all did the same thing. I contacted McFarlane Toys online and they advised I exchange or refund with Walmart. I explained exchange would not help and why. They gave me a credit on the McFarlane Toystore site. Of course they don’t sell Super Powers there (only Walmart). But, j can buy something else with the credit I guess. Just really disappointing about the Batwing.
Great… I asked the Walmart website to send me a replacement for mine. Now after seeing this I think I might just ask for a refund. Same issue. It broke in the same place.
@@thespaceram2879 @red Ricky came up with a solution he posted in the comments for my third batwing video. Toy polloi has always been on it when it comes to toy repair and restoration.
@@ursupremetoys6230 Oh great even better. I think you can even print it in a special printer using better materials and then install the canopy on the batwing.
Same thing happened to me. I kept it as I do not want to go through all the hassle.
It has definitely been a hassle!

I have Wonder Woman’s invisible jet and while nothing broke, it is missing its top fin which pissed me off

@@ursupremetoys6230 my Walmarts don’t appear to. And I did contact them but never got a response

So apparently this is common with the Bat Wing, so many factors making me think I might pass on this line.
If you think it’s a bat plane you should pass on the whole line
@@mattleanio8534 ha ha so funny
I can see a lot of people cherry picking their favorite character anyway.
But you just said you’ll probably get a third one, so they know people will keep buying them, so there’s not much incentive for them to fix things.

Cudos on bringing it directly to their attention. Too bad they don't really care LoL.
Make sure you leave this feedback on walmarts website to warn others as well as give feedback to mcfarlane toys.
Good idea.

Yeah, it's obviously a serious flaw. I returned it a second time. Got #3, I don't plan on getting another one if it breaks too.
@@ursupremetoys6230 You should ask Toy Polloi on youtube an insight on how to repair the canopy. He is quite good with fixes like these.
The same with him and whoever else with that problem.
