  • Giants owner Charles Johnson gave rave reviews last week to the San Francisco Chronicle about the performance of the Giants young guys. Sam Lubman thinks that how the Giants youngsters have played is enough to keep Farhan Zaidi around, even if the Giants fail to make the postseason.

No diddy but, Lubman with the guns out Guru style. LOL. Kind of interesting he chose to go with that look today after Guru went with this look a couple of days ago, even though yeah, it's been warm/hot here in the Bay the past few days.

Zero chance the Giants are trading for Mike Trout. The guy has been an .850 OPS guy for the past 2 years. And, he's getting paid $37M + Giants would have to give up prospects.

I doubt the Giants trade for Trout. He can't stay on the field and I'm not sure it's worth it to give up on Luciano this quickly. As Spadoni and Lubman were discussing, what happens if Luciano figures it out with the Angels working with Ron Washington? That wouldn't look good for the Giants.

Very disappointed Farhan will be back even if they don't make the playoffs. Guess he has a tenured position. BARF.
