Guru is too emotional and stuck in the past success of the Warriors. He is a number one JK hater and is blinded by his own emotions. JK is a hungry young player who wants to be great. It is unfortunate that Coach Kerr don't have confidence in him and is only concerned mostly for the core guys. He knew Klay's attitude was out of control instead of him coaching the team he pacified Klay's ego. All JK wants is an opportunity to be great for and help this team.

Kuminga wants to be great compared to his draft class!! Not in the team sense!! You earn more playing time by impressing your coaching staff in practice and in your opportunities in the game!! Not in the press or the Locker room after the game!! PODS and TJD earned their playing time by doing what the team needed and not pouting !That’s why I’ll never be a fan of JK! I root him as a person but not as a fan of the Golden State Warriors which I’ve been since 1983!! Get them iso me- first types outta here!!!!!!!! Especially when you can’t shoot, whine for every foul, and don’t hustle on defense! Bounce!!!!’

I get this logic but I’m sorry. I blame more ownership and board. I have said this since after 2020. The owner made the wrong decision trying to have the championship core and having young talent. Bob Myers never was that good selecting draft picks. His speciality was his communication skills with other teams and networks where he picks up really underrated free agents.
He should’ve flipped those picks post 2020 and probably would have contracted a good bench and depth for the team. Kerr is not a developmental coach. More about the X’s and O’s and brainstorming ways to win and continue to win.
Owner had the wrong idea and mindset having a GM and a coach like this and wanting to draft picks and develop them. He went against what he has in his payroll.
Still doesn’t make sense because Dunleavy took over for Myers and he’s been good at drafting so far. Free agency picks has been average. He still has Kerr. Tried to bring in Atkinson for developing which kudos. I think having Atkinson def helped out Podz, Kuminga, moody and more. Now they Terry stotts whose a defensive minded coach brought Stackhouse for being an enforcing leader coach.
At the end this mindset from the owner won’t take him anywhere. He hasn’t set his mindset whether he was go all in for the last 3-5 more seasons of curry and start trading young talent for key player or blow the whole team up now and get as much value as you can for his aging players.

Kuminga will be great but he doesn’t fit the Steph timeline. His mindset is he’s wants to be the number 1 option but the team needs a second or third option now.

@@brianbanks8570 so by your logic, you wouldn't have wanted a Kobe on Golden State since 1983?

@@derrickk6028 Don’t put JK and Number 8 in the same sentence ever again! (And I wasn’t even a fan).
Kobe wasn’t a flawed player! His fundamentals and work ethic were apparent from day one my dude!! Try again!!

trade kuminga and start building around skilled talented players like they did back then with curry and klay instead of players like wiseman and kuminga. they made the right steps last year with podz going back to what have always work.

Kuminga is a skilled player, he's just one who's learning on the fly, thanks to a coach who's stuck in his ways. Where were you during that stretch when Curry and Kuminga were the highest scoring duo in the league? His post game is already more fluid than some players who have been in the league for years. He's an efficient scorer and can guard 3 positions. He's learning from his mistakes, he'd be further along if Kerr gave him the reps necessary. He was their second best player, last season. If we both were GM's I'd be laughing while I fleeced you for Kuminga.
