I have never seen how a player who doesn't punch teammates or miss games due to suspension does not get the same respect as someone who does. Because in pro sports, the respect is shown by the check.
Draymond’s free agency came one year removed from a championship. Klay’s came two. No way the Warriors would or could afford to pay Draymond what they did a year ago.
Klay downfall with the team started when he showed up after 4th ring out of shape and admitted he never practiced the whole summer. He missed tonnes of minutes to start the season. Klay has ego issues....
Yeah, for someone who was traditionally pretty non-chalant, Klay has definitely been in his feelings. He’s out there on social media. He reads comments. I think the “fanbase” and media scrutiny played a super crucial role in his leaving. It eventually just got too hard to put on a Warriors uniform when everyone expects to see “Game 6 Klay” night after night. The pressure of all that and the constant slander (some of it totally unfair) messed with his mentals and killed his game. I always believed (and still do) that he’s still got it in him. I just wish, like in Ted Lasso, we had a Doc Fieldstone/sports psychologist type of character on the team to sort out some of our guys because… damn there was a lot of mental stuff going on all around last season.
Get off klay tip. Y’all the emotional ones keep talking about him
Klay is finally on a good team
they are in talk radio. its their job lol
@@peterboudoures8998he hasn’t been on a good team? 😂😂😂😂 They won a championship 2 years ago and were 18-2 without klay that year
@@ninerempire3398the team has been trash since 2020, got worse in 2023( Poole left), kindly name a good offensive player this past season
@@ninerempire3398 they aren’t any good. Watch the most recent games.
Is Klay Thompson too Sensitive? ...this has got to be one of the most cognitively dissonant questions you could ask about an NBA player that demonstrated the persistent will, fortitude, and commitment required to sustain recovery efforts based on two {2} serious injuries; an utterly shameful and disrespectful question⁉ ...
Not to mention the dedication to become as good a player as he has been in his career
NBA players are 'sensitive' when they're 'open & candid' about they're contemplations OR when they respond to vitriol spewed by journalists‼ ...
I be sensitive too if at every turn y’all keep bringing up you paid me while I was hurt like I didn’t get hurt working for you. He is gone, move on already and next season is chalked already lol
Yeah he just got hurt trying to help win a series they were down in. And didn't he help win a championship the year he came back? It's pathetic how they focus on that.
@@mikegonzalez503 they paid draymond that doesn’t even look at the basket, same draymond they paid cost them a 20pg scorer, same draymond was unplayable against Boston in the 4th. Once the team is playing bad is klay fault but draymond missed multiple games. Btw the warriors knew if they didn’t pay him someone else would have. Let’s not all act like the org is a charity organization
Yes, he was very sensitive
Man klay is gone and happy. Y’all are the same ppl who are mad that wiggs doesn’t care enough. When klay shows emotion, is klay too sensitive?
I saw some of his press conference and he didn't look too happy. I don't know, maybe I am looking more into it.
He seemed happy. Honestly, this is probably the happiest Klay has looked in a while. The Warriors sadly have been toxic the past few years. Draymond has contributed to a lot of that toxicity, maybe Kerr to some extent, but Klay did as well as we are finding out.
It was nice to see Klay happy again, but he will be missed here with the Warriors.
How is this even a question? He’s been emotional and sensitive for yearrrrrrs
The Warriors screwed the Lakers over by refusing to do a sign and trade with Klay Thompson to the Lakers. Now I am really happy the Clippers screwed the Warriors over by refusing to sign and trade Paul George to the Warriors. Hopefully Danny Ainge and the Jazz refuse to trade Lauri Markkanen to the Warriors. Karma is a btch.
Yes.
I think Klay got a little spoiled overtime. His ego became a big problem for the team. He was paid 40 million last year but ended the year mad at ownership? He seems to blame the Warriors for his own aging process. At his height Klay was a put his head down and work guy. Still love Klay but I’m bitter by how he handcuffed the Warriors financially and bailed.
He was paid what he earned, I bet at your place of work if you got hurt working for your boss and you home for a year cuz of that. You still expect your money
@@henryjegs1 no issue with him getting 40 million, he earned it. I have issues with him getting mad when the team offered him above market value and taking less money to leave because of imaginary insults from ownership. I don’t claim to know everything about the negotiations though.
Okay and the Dubs made their decision. It done and opinions from others don't matter.
Klay is garbage glad he left. He should have been traded 2 years ago.
That's kind of harsh.....
It is I know. I just got really tired of his selfish play and negative attitude during the last two seasons.
