The Falcon 2 is one of the best out there for EDC. I been using mine for 8 years and still holding pretty good. No signs of wear. It's compact, ruggged, well done and comfortable.
The condor pack, or actually the identical WFS version, has double stitching everywhere, a removable nylon back panel with a dedicated sleeve that could actually fit a ceramic plate in it. Adjustable sternum strap, attached Velcro ties for left over strap ends, three very strong load handles, and even though they are not YKK sippers, they are excellent HD plastic zippers. Zipper pulls at beginning of zippers. I’ve been using every brand of pack for over forty😢 years, and recently Maxpedition makes great gear but are twice as expensive, 511.rush gear is well design and constructed, but at a premium price point. More adjustment straps😊 and buckles that any competition. 1000 D material and more. At $79.00 from Big-5 on 26 Dec. 2022” this pack has features that the maxpedition and 5.11 should have included for their respective prices. Voodoo tactical bags use quality materials but all mine have had zippers fail stitching unravel and no one has returned my calls about the supposed life-time warrantee. I’ll let you know how the double stitching holds up over time.
The LAPG Atlas 72 might be worth mentioning. It's 900 denier construction and large capacity with plenty of compartments make it one of my favourite. Oh, and did I mention that it's also affordable? The only thing I don't like about it is the laser cut MOLLE webbing. I know it's heavier, but I have more confidence in the old school MOLLE webbing over the laser cut version when it comes to reliability. If the Atlas 72 came with "old school" MOLLE webbing, it would be perfect for me. That's not to say that the first 4 packs in the video above aren't also good choices.
You have missed the best one. Hero 2.0 45L. All the backpacks in this video are great options and alternatives to Hero 2.0. I have Invader Gear one. I prefer the style of open clamshell and the front pockets for easy access to quick grab items.
I’ve used both the Maxpedituon and the 5.11 Rush 24. The 5.11, although heavier, is a much better bag. I modified the bag to add a hip belt which was pretty easy and cheap. If packed correctly, using the right gear, you can turn this pack into a 72 hr bug out bag weighing less than 30lbs and without having all kinds of attention attracting crap hanging off of it. 37L is a lot of space and will hold a lot of ultralight titanium gear. My only complaint is I wish it had a n easy access CCW compartment. The 5.11 Vortk18 has this feature and is more “grey man” in appearance, but lacks the capacity and durability of the Rush 24. Without spending 300+ on an Elberstock or Phatom, this is probably the best bang for the buck.
I have to disagree on the Rush yoke system. it's supposed to disburse the weight across the shoulders, which is seemingly a good idea, but it's the next thing to impossible. to get that yoke well-sited on the shoulders and do what it is designed for, that curved area on the yoke should be put right behind the neck of the wearer, altering the center of gravity of the bag, tilting the the wearer from side to side during locomotion. to top it all off, the rounded area of the yoke will just poke in the back of people's neck. It does, however, help with the weight distribution for the bag itself. after years of use, the shouder straps will not fall off the bag. speaking of which, the shoulders straps are not padded enough to be supportive. I still have pain of my shoulders after 1-2 hours with a fully loaded pack. I think for "tactical" backpacks, our best bet is to go with smaller ones so we can resist the temptation of putting 50kg of supplies and gear in.

I've noticed a common issue with these tactical "bug-out" backpacks, and that's the lack of wide and long waist straps. They either don't have a waist strap at all or they have one that's only about an inch wide and doesn't have enough surface friction/grab to properly take any of the load off the shoulder straps, which is the whole point of a waist strap to begin with... The only bags which fulfill this function are the WAY more expensive brands like Fjallraven and Osprey... I've found that the ONLY affordable tactical backpack that has a long and wide waist strap AND looks/operates well is the *"911 Military Army Tactical Molle Camping Hiking Hunting Rifle Backpack"* (eBay search it) - Take a look and you'll see what I mean by the waist strap... If you've ever had to walk any more than a few miles with a heavy bag, you'll absolutely understand the value of a proper waist strap...
the condor 3 day pack is a clone of an old camelbak design, i never had condor's version but owned the camelbak for over 10 years. Bought it in Iraq, took it on almost every mission and kept it until i got tired of the UCP pattern.

i think you overestimate how far you can get without a motor vehicle.. Because we aren't talking about a stroll in the national park here from a practical point of 3 days worth of supplies is fine from a motor vehicle use standpoint of use.. in most cases this will get you killed by other means of transport.. far do you think you will get in 72 hours doing 55-80MPH on the highways and byways of the US mainland. Vs the capacity of walking or riding a bike a in the same time scale.. when you got north of 220 miles to cover, NOTE: this distance is roughly 3 hours worth of driving with no means of self protection you surviving past the 1-12 hours is going to be very remote indeed.. i think the Government and preppers alike need to stop promoting the idea you can live past 72 hours past on bare essentials are deluding themselves on the distance less than 1-15MPH fully laden to survive the traveling distance you partake.. reality is the people demonstrating these packs shouldn't be wearing these sizes because they so not have adequate body mass to support the pack itself let alone the weight of the laptop you describe in this product placement .. if your body frame is sitting where an average school backpack or note book bag sits in the middle of your back.. then the bag is to big for you..
I was thinking about buying the SOG Ninja. I don't want one too big.. I got to thinking $30 is too cheap though.. I need an everyday carry bag that isn't so big that I could park my car in it...

Have you heard people talk about - Pansaac Ideological Preeminence - (search on google ) ? It is a great one off product for discovering how to collate your effective bug out plan for survival without the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my buddy got cool results with it.
Can't stand this Watch Mojo style of advertising. And full of shit. I have the Rush backpac and the SOG Op Ord. And the SOG is a much better pack and more comfortable and more practical. The side pouches and flap panel are great. It's a well though out pack and just as sturdy as my far more expensive packs. And it's not 30 buck either. It cost more unless you find a steal on Amazon or ebay. I would chose that pack over 5 11 all day long. And I do.

M-Tac Pathfinder is exactly like the 5:11 Rush 24 but alot cheaper (under 50 USD) now that is real value for your money.

Hi, the Maxpedition Falcon II would be perfect! It's not too big, you can use it every day but still has a lot of storage space for your things. :)
