The 5.11 Rush 12 is by far my favourite. When I go for bushcraft camping I have a custom waxed canvas bag but the Rush 12 is the one I used for day hikes and is also suitable for EDC. The comfort is next level.
Excellent video !! It would be very helpful if you would include the price of each pack. Without that information, the reader must then spend a lot of time searching the web for this information. You could also specify trustworthy websites that offer these packs at a reasonable price.
All EDC packs should be gray bags. I have a Mystery Ranch Briefcase that converts into a backpack. No one should ever see MOLLE on a daily use pack. It screams potential firearm owner and makes the carrier a walking target.
ridiculous. And to think you're a target for appearing as a firearm owner and not the other way around. Hiking and camping backpacks been using all kinds of strapping on their packs for years.
The only people to actually notice such would be others who just like yourself or people who generally carry legally. Criminals are not going to understand the legal gun owners thought process of what kind of back pack carries what.
@@antelopeanders6625 thank you. Agreed 100%. people get so wound up in all this tactical shit and don't apply common sense. Watching too many SF videos
@UCxbXfzKPVi9mhZkLHZIZhbw Lol, i can't live without MOLLE everywhere. My EDC pack for the last 20 years or so has been a Condor 3 day assault pack. Not having every possible surface covered in MOLLE is a dealbreaker as i use it daily. Also, grey would stand out like a sore thumb, i don't go anywhere near the city, around here desert tan goes unnoticed best and blends in. My stealth/camo is for not disturbing wildlife more than anything. It depends a lot on your 'daily' use, i'm constantly strapping stuff like helmets and other protective gear, skateboards, camera tripods and such to MOLLE in various configurations, as well as carrying water bottles. I designed and 3d printed a set of rings with MOLLE hooks that convert a standard 1 liter PET soda/water bottle to carry sparkling water without blowing up a reservoir. There's nobody around me i pretty much don't even go to places where being a 'target' would be an issue. I live off grid on a remote mountaintop and hike about 3-30 miles a day through places other people don't go. If i'm going skateboarding then same thing, strap my gear on all the MOLLE, ride my motorcycle up to a lonely mountain pass with the homies and do highways speeds down twisty mountain roads. But i guess if you live in some shithole of a city packed together like dystopian sardines your EDC needs are a LOT different than if you're putting in backcountry miles, living outdoors, and carrying stuff that won't fit internally, like tripods and skateboards daily. Less regularly i'll carry shovels, picks, buckets, large rolled tarps, bow saws, and all kinds of stuff that only MOLLEs to do trail maintenance. I'm 100% no compromises about the function and could care less what it looks like or what someone thinks of it. Somebody want to 'target' me lol? Go ahead, fuck around and find out, i don't need a gun i'll take the gun or knife/machete, rock, or whatever you've got, yet again. I've taken guns cartel dudes tried to use on me, snatched idk how many knives out of attackers' hands and just take care of business without hesitation or any of that fear bullshit when needed, just never give them the opportunity to gain any tactical advantage or leverage in the first. Actually this rarely happens now, but i grew up in some of the hardest hoods in the country in the crack war days, have seen, and had to deal with 'some shit' of all sorts pretty regularly since i was a kid. I don't fuck around and play games, make empty threats, get blindly angry intimidated, or feel emotions aside from being pissed that some asshole is wasting my time feebly 'attacking' lol. Best way to not be a victim is to not act like a victim. 99% of deterrence is being, and mostly APPEARING calmly confident, aware of your surroundings, and not showing the least bit of fear, uncertainty, or performing any non deliberate well thought out actions, however minor. Take for example putting on your backpack. You've been sitting in a cafe with your bag under the table beneath you. If you stand up smoothly, don't snag any straps, expertly manage it up onto your shoulders confidently while scanning the area you look a lot less like a victim than the clutzy doofus on his hands and knees cursing and trying to get the 'tactical' loose strap untangled from a table leg before the coffee cup falls on your stupid unaware head. But i can guarantee ANY attacker isn't factoring in how many MOLLE straps you have on your gear when sizing you up. They're looking for the confused Melvin that just got clocked in the head with his own coffee cup and is now whining and crying because the strap is still stuck and he's too feeble to figure it out, not the dude who looks fully competent, unafraid and fully aware. Don't let your insecurity or mindless stumbling and fumbling label you as a victim, be an 'expert' in every action (I mean EVERY ACTION, however trivial, tying your shoes, reaching for a cup, opening or closing a door etc. it's ALL about body language you choose to present) you take and be mindful of every motion, make it with deliberate, planned skillful intention and confidence over random reactive jittery fumbling, being feeble, acting like you have low self esteem, apologizing for existing, and appearing like a mindless robot.
Molle webbing and moral patches just scream - steal this bag, it has EDC goodies in it such as weapons, food, tools, etc. Something like the discontinued 5.11 COVRT 18 is far better IMHO. Has a CCW pocket and takes a body armor panel while looking like a college book bag.
Military equipment are the most uncomfortable equipment I have ever used. Just think it is made by the lowest budder. People that want this equipment have no military expersnce.

Exactly this.
What about a military surplus Molle II Assault pack? Amazingly well built and less than $50 (got mine for $20 at Goodwill).
good call. spend the money saved on gear/supplies
Can you link this?

Anyone know the ruck on the far right in the thumbnail?
Prices ?? Buy where ???
you have YT, so you must have access to google.
Why say top 6 “best”…. Wouldn’t “top 6” cover it?
Could have been top cheapest, top ruggedized, top comfort
Top bestest
Xaxaxaxaxa I think first is the tasmanian tiger mission pack II 37 litres I have it 7 months and it's the best of all of them and 700cordura
How about some edc bags that arent 300$...

Incomplete video, he should’ve had price comparisons and where to buy them.
How much?
For me: Savotta Jääkäri M 😉
The best made backpacks are made by SNIGEL DESIGN.
German armed forces just ordered 250.000 units from them 👍🏻
Highly doubt that
The fact you didn’t add Eberlestock or mystery ranch makes me question your motive and credibility. 5-11 over the two I mentioned is laughable
That final Blackhawk bag is a blatant rip off of a Platatac Echo backpack.
Where is Harzard 4
Tactical. EDC. Buy.

Hi I need buy a funny pack for my Spring field 9 mm and 3 magazine ?
