Hey I recently bought a 2003 cbr600 f4i and I also didn’t notice that the rear tire wasn’t aligned with the tail 🤦♂️ I do feel the bike pull slightly to one side, the side where it looks like the tail is bent. I’ve checked and redone the front tire and suspension, I’ll have to check to make sure the rear tire is aligned but after seeing this I think my suspicion may be correct , might have to just replace the subframe. I haven’t been able to really enjoy the bike cause I’m not 100 percent confident in it after seeing the tail and I wasn’t sure how to approach it either. Thanks for making this vid, you helped me understand how I can check if the subframe is bent and what I need to do to replace it. You’re a lifesaver 👌 keep making vids 🙌🙌🙌
Thank you for your kind words. I actually have not ridden the bike as yet due to me wanting to go through it thoroughly from a safety perspective. Then when I noticed the issue with the subframe there was no way i was riding it!😳. I do enjoy a project and I will definitely be doing more videos on this project. Another one due in the next couple of days. I hope you sort the problem easily and swiftly, ride safely 👍.
I’ll definitely give that a try, thanks. Im hoping to go through the whole bike from a safety point of view and get everything working correctly, and at the same time cosmetic improvements that are quick and cheap to do. I don’t know anything about its past but it’s been well used to be sure! Then my plan is to use it as a bit of fun alongside my other bikes.

Hi, quick tip if you are filming with Go pro, change lens type to linear to get rid of the fish eye.
