I've been looking for a way to more purposefully redirect the water when cleaning out my duck's swimming pond, so this comparison is very helpful!

Yup, the Bauer is on sale for $30, I have a warranty for 2 years and replaceable impeller. Ill pass on the knock off at 3X the price and no warranty. I can run that Bauer to death and return it for a new one and be back working in under an hour the $90 knock off it goes, it in the trash, i need to get a $5 bucket at Harbor Freight to replace it. Ill take the Bauer!

Your video was very informative. I had a customer that only had Dewalt tools and this help determine if we were going to move him away from standardized batteries to possibly the Milwaukee pump, but your video was so comprehensive, that we felt very comfortable going to the Mellif knock off dewalt pump. Thank you very much.

Buyer beware! The Bellif pump does not have low voltage/over discharge protection, nor does it have high temperature shutoff. But it’s still a good put as long as you don’t leave it unattended

Hi, does that mean it could ruin the battery? If it lets it run down to nothing voltage wise?

@@sebrickard7356IF this pump in fact does not have LVP, then yes. I have 2 other Meliff dewalt compatible tools (bug zapper & compact duster) and they DO have the protection and have not ruined my batteries. I don't own this pump yet so I cannot say for sure on this unit.

They certainly beats running hundred feet of hose or 100 feet of electrical wire that’s for sure

I am looking for an emergency pump to lower my swimming pool level to keep it from overflowing when the electricity goes out and I can't use the pool pump

Either would fit the bill in an emergency I used both to empty the hot tub a couples times but switched back to electric pumps to get it done faster

This is very useful. I am looking for a battery powered pump where I can attach a hose and pump water out of a creek onto the floodplain where I'm planting native shrubs. Do you think I could attach a garden hose to this and water my new shrubs?

The Milwaukee pump works really well too, though it costs significantly more.

thanks for the video but heres my personal experience. I bought that millif transfer pump and it worked for a few minutes then shit the bed and now it only works when u hold down that little reset button. this thing is absolute garbage for the most common use its meant for. (quickly draining a water heater) anotehr sad day as a dewalt guy. more and more reaons to switch to milwuakee. speaking as a certified plumber.

I don’t disagree with you at all. The problem is is I haven’t had enough need to use this to warrant to follow up review yet. It’s basically set since I did my original testing on it but I definitely agree with you that Milwaukee has come along way in that sort of gear. I’m a Dewalt dude myself makes me sad.

@@TOOLMANTIMSWORKSHOP ya man its tough working in the trades as a plumber when your a dewalt guy XD all good tho Im slowly making the change to milwuakee for work and then gonna have my dewalt collection for home project/hobby use.
