This was a great episode. Love these kind of places. Humble and cozy.
Tbis looks so cool! I love thinking about how each tiny bar or restaurant has to stock their supplies and dishes and how they prep and scale all of it.
Great video!
Two things I've noticed:
1) Everything is intimate and cozy(for better or worse). Can't compare this to the open spaces in Thailand bars...
2) When you speak Korean, your whole body language and the accompanying sounds you make are of a Korean manner... it's funny to watch :D
I speak 3 languages and act totally different for each language!
Keep it up!
You won everyone's hearts when speaking Korean - props man, much respect and love!
Wonderful vibe & camera work, such a beautiful city 💕
Those tiny little bars seem so cool and interesting! It's one of the things I find most appealing about visiting Japan one day. I Especially loved the last one with the dark lighting and mood! The only place I've seen have anything similar to that in US is NY city. Even still it doesn't directly compare to how Japan looks.
Killer video - gonna try to hit up these spots next week!!
Cruisy night out. Nice vid. Reminds me of the good old days.
Great video. Reminds me of an awesome month I spent in Tokyo 20 years ago. Such a great looking city with amazing bars and restaurants. Keep em coming Adam!
Man your tunes to your videos are always on point
Love the vlogs keis, stay safe mate
Your and Dan’s Japan videos are really cool! Your best work 👍
Thanks for the video, its great to see how I could be enjoying the nightlife in one of the greatest cities of the world !
I love all the lights
I rlly love the fact u left the ggl maps locations, i'm visiting in 3 weeks and would love to try them out! Thanks :)
Interesting video. Thanks Adam ❤
dude awesome video cant wait to visit Japan
Awesome man! It’s so fun here 😊
Great video, brother. Have seen some of your other vids from Bangkok and around, so now I'll subscribe, ha. Am going to Tokyo for two months (feeling so lucky!) from October, and will be in Bangkok from January onwards. Awesome vids, always great interesting sceneries in the backgrounds you're taking us to, and just a good-natured fun guy like you presenting well. Keep it up!
This is just the kind of video I have been dying to see awesome content!
I went to Golden Gai about 8 years ago, and wasn't so taken, as it had a real reputation of not being welcoming to tourists. With the bars being so small, they want people who'll come in and stay for a large part of the evening, not people who'll come in for a single beer. Foeigners just being told flat out "No!" when they tried to go into many bars was common, and happened to me in one place. Maybe things have changed. There's a similar place in Kanazawa, with about 60 bars on two small alleys, but that was very welcoming, perhaps because they get far fewer foreign tourists over that side of the country.
You and Dan live the life ❤❤
Love Tokyo super cool place
love the video
Ha looks cool and my son on the plane to Tokyo atm. Fun times ahead.
Those two spots are on my list! Golden Gai seems amazing!
I remember loads of places in Golden Gai -- especially the ones that use old washing machines full of ice for the beers .....
This is a major move Keis and marks a positive growth..
man the night life there is just packing dayyuumm
That looks like such a picturesque bar
Memories... spent 5 years in Tokyo
I'm Japanese. But I have never been to that place!
I enjoyed to watch this video!
I live in country side.
So very different with my place.
I was surprise that you speak korean!
Enjoy your stay in Japan.
country side = nature, the real world 🌲🍁🦌

On my last trip to Japan I only visited big cities (Tokyo, Kyoto, Matsumoto, Hiroshima, Fukuoka). I was a wonderful experience.
But in Fukuoka I met a Japanese buisnessman who spoke very good English. He told me I should definitely visit the north of Japan and the countryside, because it's very beautiful and cheaper than the big cities. I hope to do so next year. ☺❤JP
@@7shinta7
Big cities are fun, but there are too many people.
The countryside is quiet and peaceful.
Please come to the countryside next time!
Really like this style of adventure. Cheers
Dan looks so lost when you speak Korean XD
Japan Knotfest this weekend. You’ll might see a few bands walking about on their day off..
Few people have bumped into skipknot and trivium at restaurants and bars in Australia.
Omoide Yokocho is awesome with all the small yakitori restaurants. Omoide Yokocho means Memory Lane but has a nick name 'Piss Alley'
Come back Japan whenever you like.
Japan would be your final destination!
Nothing like it in the world, that is why I stay as close as possible w/out breaking the bank. If you find Charlie he will get you in those secret places. You did not show any beauties of Kabukicho. Streets are dead, must be early OR rained early. Absolutely love this bar area. Love popcorn. Absolutely loved every minute
A nice little bar crawl area. Cool looking place!!
Really is a photographers dream!! Nice!
No cover charge, free popcorn!! Lets go!!!
Awesome!! speaking korean !!~~
That area seems very interesting
Inspiring video
I'm pretty sure he's been to happening bars by now. lol Those are fun to go to as a foreigner.
It's funny how that hidden alley is full of tourists :D
Wow, dude your Korean is spectacular! I saw you and your buddy in chitlom few weeks ago, but didn't want to bother you haha! Have fun in Japan, you guys returning to Bangkok?
Nice!
Dude I saw that Maybach van in Tokyo a few weeks ago!
Also if you want the full Japanese experience you need to check out some idol groups - can I suggest Nippon Wachacha or Jugs Mafia.
The life. Is short enjoy the life
True words here mate!
Life is short, so the suffering will be over soon.
OMG ADAM YOUR SPITTING KOREAN WAS UNBELIEVABLE ! I’m impressed krup !I believe lots of Koreans working in Japan !?Itewan will you show us please Adam I was there when they were selling copies 😂
Thanks, first time I have spoken in a Long time, didn’t come easy..
but of practice I’ll be right back
Would you recommend finding lodging in/near these areas? Generally where is good to stay in Tokyo?
❤, i speak Korean, mandarin, spanish and English. I know how it feels and I wanna go back to Asia ASAP 😂
Suntory Whiskey OUCH.. instantly brought back difficult memories... I'm looking forward to you getting in the Hostess Bars where you have your own hostess whos job it is to help you sing and get you drunk as possible... many of these establishments with back rooms where you can sleep it off or "Whatever".. your getting there... imagine being in these tight quarters during an earthquake..
Have you been to Akihabara Area yet, Computers, cameras, video games, usually a year ahead of their release in the rest of the world ... look for a Sony Personal Air-conditioner they really work... might be something for those very very hot days in Bangkok. Ted
Yeah i have heard many stories about those hostess bars haha
Went to akiharbra but didn’t film, it was raining so just enjoyed a day playing with retro nintendos 😊
Hey bro awesome vid, your Korean is better than mine 😂
@1:13 where exactly in shinjuku are you I want to go there when I visit in August
While you're in Tokyo check out a place called San'ya - it's one of the poorest areas in Tokyo and is a real eye-opener.
I'll be in Tokyo on a 16h layover in a couple weeks, 5pm to 9am. Any suggestion on what to do?
Clean footage mate considering night time. Is this still your GoPro?
As a Firefighter I have to say those little bars you walk up the stairs to look like firetraps should one get going. Hopefully there's a back staircase out. Looks like a lot of fun though for sure. Love small bars.
Like the Japanese, you just die in honor.
You ever been to Asia? They're not too hot on H&S. 😂
Asian problems
Thanks for what you do
Come visit bro. Firetraps vs semi automatic guns control in US. Guess which kills more people.
Tokyo in the future of 2084... What's good...
I wanna speak Japanese second so i can talk to the ladies... 2024... Yum😘😘
The lady bartender is so pretty 💙
Great video man, I see you are using a go pro for vlogging, at night did you have to use extra lighting for for the go pro or just without it? Thanks
This one was just the gopro and natural night.. there is so much light in Tokyo at night so it worked well!
I’m Aussie first time there tomorrow nervous af
Any idea why White Sox hats are so popular? Saw a lot of people wearing them in Osaka as well.
For your hangovers, take Dan to an onsen or a sento and you’ll be good to go out for another night on the Kirin beer.
Sent you an email with suggestions.
Shinjuku Nightlife, what a sight! Is Dancing / DF’s a thing in Tokyo?
Yep! But I have no interest in bringing the gopro along haha
Thanks for the VID man, im going there next year with some friends and you just gave me some cool tips. But im afraid of the language barrier... and how that will influence the experience, to the point we talked about getting a guide to walk around with us just to translate :)
You'll be absolutely fine. I've been to Japan three times, (without being able to speak the language) and as long as you don't stray too far off the beaten track, you'll be able to find someone who speaks English, or see some English signage. It might limit your choices, as going into a restaurant where you can't read the menu won't work out too well, but there will be plenty of options.
One thing I did do was learn the Katakana 'alphabet', as a large number of the words written in that are just transliterations from English, but I certainly wouldn't say it's essential.
@Keis one for all that is holy what was the place with free popcorn ?
What’s the biggest difference between Tokyo and NYC? Japan’s CLEANLINESS
dangerous zone😈😎😏
I guess it’s ok to ware your cap in bar there😊
Lol I got way too drunk on Family Mart sake to remember some of my Shinjuku shenanigans and what I do remember I can't say here 😂
Haha yeah, did you try the strong zero? It’s in a can, 9% and tastes like lift.. daaaaaangerous! Haha
@@keisone I've heard good things about Strong Zero 😁
No energy crisis in tokyo ? Great place food and girls kawaii

@keis one can you provide Google maps links to the general areas you showed in your B-Roll. Also the specific bars you stopped at in Golden Gai. Thanks!
Hey man, I’m not sure the exact location of those bars we went, but take a wander around golden Gai, it’s great fun!
The B roll was between those 2 locations it’s Kabukicho within the Shinjuku district
cool
How much are the short time rates there for the ladies
뻔☆KEIS님~도쿄,JAPAN각이동당사자님과지금바로보내고활동그만해도됨개통이라며못다녀도되요
is it possible to go somewhere that didn't serve egg or noodles?
😂 I’m surprised you hadn’t hit Sanya up yet , actually not sure that the name any longer, going of the slums vids in the past it’s pretty interesting to see the difference verse what slums are in other countries. PS only heard it existed never been there or seen it 😂
Yeah I saw that vid.. TBH I wasn’t into it.. ill tell you my thoughts offline haha
4:43 is that a maybach mini van???!
I’m going tomorrow. Are this easy to find ?
Damn I love videos like this, makes me wish I could travel and do things like this. I can live vicariously thorough you!
Can you go to a Japanese video game arcades in Tokyo ? And the place where al the nerds hang out?
That's where I'd be
Totemo Arigato Gozaimasu
Tokyo knights 🤟🏾🌃⛩️🗼
When was it filmed? March'23?
Hello my friend. Any chance you remember the name of the tiny pub in "Golden Gai" where you spoke Korean with the bartender? Going to Tokyo in a few weeks and would love to get a drink there. Thanks!
Description
😊😊😊😊😊
Who’s the friend with the sleeve at the bar in the intro. Can I bag him for keeps.
凄ーい、韓国語❤
Is it still true, Mexico to Japan requires no passport?
❤
U much is for one beer in euro or dollars around ?
Much easier to date Korean women in Japan than Japanese in my experience. Nice! lol...I'm trying to imagine if a bar put up a sign "English only" in the west lol
A bit of a dive/kip.
I didn't expect to watch two foreigners speaking in Korean at a Japanese pub. haha
한국말 잘 하시네요❤
