I used to go to Atom (also Harlem), Camelot, and Ageha all the time in the early 2010s. It's unfortunate that Ageha is closed down, but glad that new clubs are opening up. I don't think i'll be clubbing any time soon as I am on my 30s now and I am busy with work unfortunately. Thank you for the updates!!

I live in Tokyo. I’ve been to Ce La Vie, Atom, and Zero. Ce La Vie has a great rooftop view but it’s a bit pricey and they usually only have 1-2 bartenders. I was pickpocketed at Atom. Zero is beautiful and has amazing sound and lights but the night I went it was so packed. The main floor in the basement had way too many people, and when I wanted to leave I could barely push my way out. Some man I didn’t know had to help me get out. People were packed into the room and completely covering the staircases as well so there was no exit. It was terrifying that they let that many people in. It was incredibly dangerous.
Wow this CBD sponsor was really not expected :D Totally ok as a smoker in Germany. Also nice video about clubbing, not seen many. You should try more nightlife stuff about Japan
This is for those who are living in Japan Right now or have lived there if you want to live in Japan for at least 6 months or even much longer. Which city would be really pleasant to live in, because I just don't know where I want to go? I don't know whether I'd rather live in the city, like in Tokyo for example, or if I'd rather live in the countryside. Could someone give me some advice please?
I heard from many people who live there, that, ofcourse in the city itll be pricey, but youre close to many things. Also depending on where you work. Many choose to live in a more quite area that is 20-30min train ride from the big city as it is more cheap and also a bit of a hideout from the busy city if u need it. I wouldnt worry too much about it, i stayed for 2 months in Bunkyo City, near Komagome station and i loved every moment of it. 15min train ride from the big cities, super calm and very pretty aswell.
I wanna know where is the best nightclub for trance I know that sometimes sel Octagon received Ferry corsten and Ruben de ronde but is there a place where we can weekly enjoy trance ?
Liquid Room was the Mecca of clubs at the time (late 90s to early 2000s) Like dirty, raw, fucking hardcore vibe!! Lining up to ascend those flights of graffitied walls before you entered the blackness. No gimmicks, no glitter, no confetti - and no phones!! Pure mind pleasure. Golden Age of clubbing!!!

I've only been to Tokyo Dark Castle party the first time I was visiting Japan. Had some live bands as well, what a night! Any more underground Industrial Techno night that you can recommend maybe? Thanks!
Having very high amounts of collagen is a big help ~ Japanese have excellent skin genetics. No matter how healthy I am and how much skin care I use the fact my family is very pale (Celtic/Irish background) and I grew up in Australia with the highest UV levels in the world means it's very hard to have good skin (worst combination of environment and genetics!)
What venues or events (e.g., Rainbow Disco Club lineup) do you recommend for house/tech house/deep house/indie dance/nu disco/disco and/or minimal/deep tech/techno (raw/deep/hypnotic) that's considered "underground."
Also, at 15:46, It's hilarious that in the background, I can see trash on the street. It's rare enough that it's always noticeable; on a US city street it would be weird NOT to see it.

I'd love to know if there is a metal club scene in Japan, usually you can find one in most major cities in the UK and they're generally my go to because the most welcoming people generally are metalheads imo. I guess with the closures of Maniac Love, Space-Lab Yellow, Air, Warehouse, Unit, Module, Amate-Raxi(Simoon), Colors Studio, Sound Museum Vision, Trump Room, Arc, Contact, Ageha, (and despite some failed re-openings of some of these venues under new names) the only serious dance music venue left is Womb. Times have changed. (Not for the better). Tokyo once a hub of astute music, great parties and top tier international artists has now also succumb to the table booking / bottle buying commercial tackiness that dominates the US, Asia and the Middle East with its notable absence of taste and quality substituted with fake bling, ostentation, pretension and bad hiphop.
