    I still recall I’d watch this lady right here back in 2018 when I was a beginner and my listening skills were screwed, now I can proudly say that I’ve got a decent accent as well as English conversation skills, THANKS MAAM!!

    Hi Emma. Thank you very much for sharing these tips with us. I've been studying english for a long time, but I'm not feel conffident to maintain a conversation. Your note about the difficulty to change the accent having a conversation without to try change it first in lower language units, has let me know what I'm doing wrong.     Thank you! Very informative and I love your accent. I speak English but I am working on speaking French (Quebecois French), and here in Canada if francos hear an anglo accent, they often switch to speaking English (it seems that more francos are better at English than anglos are at French), and I really just want to speak French... so I’m working on tweaking my accent to sound more franco 😅 it’s a struggle for me hahah

    I think a accent is part of the charm person's charm. By the way, when English speaking foreigners speak a second, they often have very strong accents. So most of them don't care at all about their accent and we shouldn't as well. We just need to make sure we are understandable and pronouncing things correctly.

    You are absolutely right about this, ofentimes I say one thing but people understand something different. I'm assuming practice makes perfect because first it was difficult for me just to pronounce girl. I practiced many times then I was able to say it right.
