I like your video. I bought my 1998 Corolla in 2018 and still drive it everyday. Don't need to worry about it getting door dinged, it's cheap to fill up, gets around 35 miles to the gallon. It's great not having a car payment too. Currently driving around 20k miles a year on it, no major issues with it yet, just minor issues like cosmetic defects and broken interior parts but it doesn't bother me

That’s awesome! Those Toyota will last forever. We have a Honda and it’s the same you don’t have to worry about all the songs. No payments are amazing though!

@@thefrugaldad2023 2002 Chevy Trailblazer owner here. I love it and its my own first car, however since I am a real car enthusiast, I am definitely planning to take advantage of that paid off point and modify to become a real street weapon since its inline 6, although thirsty, is durable and can take reliable turbo boost...

That don’t look like a beater , a beater would be considered a car that has issues , clear coat peeling , rust , and a few mechanical issues . That car has a few things it needs but otherwise it’s a decent nice daily car .

Another bonus - Junk Yards. If you have accord/camry civic/corolla more than 10 years old, get to know your local salvage yards. Unless you have one of the lemon year models of the aforementioned vehicles, you can be confident in the engine and transmission. This makes it more likely that you'll invest time and money into fixing the little annoyances. Another bonus reason: you learn a lot about all of the systems the keep a car running whether you want to or not.
I couldn't help noticing that the doors and body panels match. I guess a garage-kept princess like gladys hasn't had the pleasure of a hit-and-run. :p

That's a good point about find parts in the junk yard, luckily we haven't had any major issues with her yet. No panels had to be replace but she's been hit in the parking lot a few times lol

That's not a beater car, that îs just an average one, a beater car would be a 98' Camry with 300K miles with a lot of dents and all kinds of little problems that u dont care about
