Wtf that goes so hard, just tried it now with original buldak. I didn't have kewpie mayo so I added a bit of rice vinegar and sugar. I also added shredded cheese into the sauce mix and microwaved it to melt properly. Best ramen combo I've tried
@@sabster79 When you do it right, adding an egg actually makes food SUPER creamy. Carbonara noodles also do this. You just gotta be careful to hit the "not-raw-but-also-not-too-cooked" sweet spot.

Only thing I do differently is toast the seasoning packs and add the water directly to them to get a richer flavor. Then a little bit of sesame oil to finish. The egg cuts a lot of the heat, so if you like your ramen spicy you might want to add some chili powder.

Meanwhile, ramyeon refers to instant noodles with dried vegetables and artificial flavoring. Since this is a Korean flavour instant noodles, you can't call it ramen because it's not Japanese.

I do the same but add a lil gochujang in the mix and top with S&B crunchy umami garlic crisp and trader joes chili onion chili oil, bit of fried pork belly or a lil bulgogi pork or beef cuts with a bunch of green onion. Its amazing and top tier ramen from a packet when done right. I mix the chili oils around considering the amount n kinds i have at home. Highly recommend the S&B crunchy garlic crisp chili oil though. Not the cheapest and its a Japanese chili oil but good God does it pack the most savory flavorful robust garlic and roasted onion taste. Its unlike any other chili oil ive had and by far one of my favorite condiment/ seasonings to use on any Asian and even other foods. And i have like 20 different chili oils but that an easy number 1 at least for me. Not one person ive given it to that enjoys garlic hasnt fallen in love with it and i live in Gilroy CA the garlic capital of the US. So know my garlic pretty well and this is amazing product if u can get. Cheers friend.

i make black bean garlic butter for general use, and it goes incredibly well with buldak carbonara. the deep fermented flavor mixes with the sweet n spicy buldak to make this super tasty complex taste, i love it.
i may be late but after you mixing everything together, you add a hot water from the noodle, which cooks the egg, then you mix it for a minute and only then you add noodles.
it's completely safe, and delicious :). carbonara for example is made in a similar way by pouring in raw egg+parmesan to cooked pasta then stirring so the egg cooks from the heat of the pasta
Ramen noodle water is WAY hotter than people would exspect. Even the noodles themselves if you got a stir fry flavor. I burnt my mouth slightly multiple times on the oil from Mi ABC. And that is stirred cold in the bowl and only gets indirect heat from the noodles

this is what I'm always telling people! Nobody seems to understand what I mean. Adding the egg to the broth just takes it to a whole new level of deliciousness! When my kids are sick I always add an egg (beaten with some parmesan cheese to the broth for the nutrients) to our chicken soup and it changes the whole thing. Helps the immune system like nothing else, tastes amazing and all the vitamins/amino acids/protein that our bodies need to get better- yet gentler on the stomach(unless we're talking spicy buldak noodles lmao).

Yea, if you can't have carbs this is possibly the worst flavor of instant ramen to get. The bbq sauce (red packet) already has alot of sugar. Theres also a lot of sugar in the carbo powder.

The first packet is from the Samyang Carbo ramen. Its korean bbq sauce that comes with it. The other thing is mayo he either put into a different container or made himself.

I always make it this way and it's the best. The mayo also helps to balance out some of the heat from the buldak sauce so it's not too overbearing.

The bbq sauce (red packet) already has alot of sugar. Theres also a lot of sugar in the carbo powder.

I have tried it too, my fav ❤ I was bit hesitant first because raw egg is used and I thought it would be odd to just add hot water in egg with mayo and spice but it turned out really good and that egg and mayo was giving creamy feeling

The first packet is from the Samyang Carbo ramen. Its korean bbq sauce that comes with it. The other thing is mayo he either put into a different container or made himself.
