Peugeot 405 'Mountains' (1988) ('Take My Breathe Away' by Berlin). Uniroyal Rallye (not spelling) Tyres 'Zoo' (1987/8) directed by Ian McKenzie. Music by John Altman. Some nice ones here but I've never heard of Hunting Gold X motor oil.
I want to go back in time. I'll have a Datsun Bluebird running on Shell with Duckhams in the engine. We'll take the Sally Line to Malta and enjoy the sights and attractive locals- then back to 2022.
I hate ads and try to avoid them at all costs. I have UA-cam Premium, don't watch broadcast TV, all of my browsers have ad-blocking plugins, and anything else I just unconsciously filter out, so, really, I never ever see ads. In other news, I've just spent the entire evening watching these advert compilations... 😅
@@InAMinMaths Yeah, I really wanted to do that but the amount of time it took to research what year each advert was originally broadcast was a deal breaker. My original plan was to show the year where the '88mph' is displayed. I just don't have enough time in the day.
Sealink ferry crossings could be quite rough on choppy channel crossing in the winter. Newer larger ships with better stabilisers have eased those problems.
I wonder if anyone at the time it was aired found the Peugeot commercial at least a little bit unsettling what with the heads turning 180 degrees backward.

I just love the Ford Consul convertible in the one for the Shell Promotion from 1985. And I love those mid 80s Nissan Bluebirds as well.
