Great review and and a beautiful truck rich with features and luxury. Air suspension has a really bad history when it came to reliability when used in cars. But air ride has been used in heavy trucks with a great track record for a very long time. I wouldn't want to be one of the first owners to test out how this new system will perform.

Very nice...Dodge has REALLY stepped up their game. They used to be the ho-hum truck that was very boring, low tech and utilitarian. Until this 2013 Ram, I would never have considered a dodge product. Now, the test will be to see how all this new tech lasts/works after a few years....
blue tooth, 8.3" touchscreen, 20" chrome wheels, and only 4.1" of suspension travel.... i'm only 25 but i still remember when trucks were trucks and weren't sold based on the number of electronic gimmics installed but in the number of years they ran when put to work.

Burlington is located in Southern Ontario, just South West of Toronto! I imagine we do enjoy some warmer weather here than the majority of Canada though...

The 8 Speed Automatic ( Selector Switch ) is an option for these trucks. You can get it with either or.
The fact that this truck is using the same leather inside it that Ferrari uses, and the interior looks, and IS more comfortable than something like a Bentley Continental Super Sport.
That's my next truck!
It never hurts though. Looking forward to the EcoDiesel 1500, though I think my next truck will be a Cummins :)

Yeah the BFG`s were pretty good but I`m putting on toyo open country at 2 I think that`s what there call but much better tire my friend has some on his truck.

Have they fixed the notorious Hemi tap problem. I bought mine new in 2009 and it's quite annoying when everytime I start it, the engine taps until the engine is warmed up. I love everything else about my truck but even though the dealer says this is normal, I really believe it's some kind of defect. I am in the market for a new truck again and I absolutely love the new features on this ram. However, if the tapping issue hasn't been fixed, I will have to move on to another brand. Let me know

BMW. In a few short months this truck will come with an 8 speed automatic mated to the same 5.7 Hemi V8 which has already been EPA certified at 25mpg hwy in 4x2 guise. Besting the Ecoboost. The Pentastar 3.6 V6 which is already available with the 8 speed achieves the #1 position in HWY/CITY/COMBINED fuel economy for ANY full size pickup.
i bought the 2500 mega cab Laramie, 6.4L
actually the ram 5.7 also comes with an eight speed, giving it 21mpg hwy. I believe the new gmc 5.3 ecotech3 only gets 1mpg better.

not to mention the ram now comes with the 3.0 ecodiesel that has around 420lb/ft of torque, so he really cant say dodge does not give a F***, let alone the 5.7 hemi has a 8 speed transmission option which should help for fuel consumption. This guy clearly is a ford and chevy fanboy who simply cant look at the statistics nowdays of all trucks on the market, and clearly see that the Ram is best suited for customers in every category.

Dodge doesn't seem to give a f about fuel economy lol. With a silverado LTZ or f150 limited, they all come with a efficient engine(5.3 Vortec with AFM/Ecoboost V6) but these top of the line trucks...come with gas guzzling V8s.

the 3.7L was a dated iron-block engine. it came with a 5-speed auto. the 8-speed was never introduced until the 3.6 Pentastar was.
EVEN THOUGH the 3.6 w/8-spd is efficient, it only has 269lbs of torque. which is nothing for a truck.
the hemi gets 13/19 mpg.
To warn you those sra tires suck I have them on my ford f-150 and only lasted 2 years my old bf goodrich tires lasted 4 years 2 year longer so just saying and telling you I think dodge should get another new tire for next year like toyo tires.
If the fiat tries to change the characteristics of the brand, it will bankrupt the chyrsler.
