Thank you so much! I was contracting with a timeshare company, to get rid of my timeshare of 25 years, with Wyndham. And luckly I saw your post, I then drop that company and decided to try your approach. It work! just like you said in your post! They took back my time share and I did not pay a cent! I don't know if it will work for everyone, but you have nothing to lose (except the timeshare) so give it a try! Big thanks again for posting that video, my closing was last week and that save me over $700 that would come due January 1st
We sold ours back to Ovation for free and got some money back. It took us 4 months. We cancelled ours from Australia in 2019. Why would anyone pay any company when Ovation do it for free.
I'm still trying to get rid of my timeshare....It's evil...No company has gotten rid of it...I've hired 4 companies not one of them sold it..2 times on one company..Still have the damn thing...It's like the pits of hell
Good info, but tough pill to swallow. Thanks! Mine in Hawaii is difficult for my family to use every year, and troublesome to rent -- maintenance fees $1100. Some years I take the big hit. I've been thinking I could sell mine for the longest time. Hadn't realized that I might be lucky to get rid of it for nothing. Now looking at resale market, but might end up taking your avenue later this year. Good luck to us all in this same predicament. -- Your idea to record and post your experience has been helpful to hundreds. Hats off & cheers to you!
Thank you for this video! After watching your video inApril 2019 we proceeded with contacting Ovation and today received notice that our ownership has been transferred. Very grateful to be free!!
I don't have Whydum (sp?) & I don't believe mine has a buy back but this is the first time I have heard of a buy/deed back. This was helpful. I've been wanting a way out of mine for sometime. years ago I spoke with some exit company who told me I would have to pay my maintance fees AND them ( 5k+5k) I opted not to do that and have not been paying my maintenance fees. I think I will do a UA-cam video re: my experience when I am done the process. It was very helpful. Thank you for thinking of your fellow humans.
No problem, thanks for watching. I never looked into a company to help me get rid of it. I knew they are expensive and felt I would get nothing, except possibly being scammed out of more money. I wish you well with yours and thanks for your comment.
This is a good information, I got my timeshare exactly like yours, Fairfield and now Whidham, my resort is in Florida and my maintenance fee didn't go up too much. I bought in 2000 and I was paying $45 a month and now I am paying $53. I am going to contact them the same way you did and I hope it works for as well. Thanks and now you can say that you are a luck and happy man.
If you just went to a timeshare presentation and signed the contract look through it you have the right to recission governed by the contract and the state you bought the timeshare...act fast...different states have different time periods from 3 to 10 to 14 days to cancel the timeshare from the date you signed it. You have to do it in writing and send certified mail return receipt plus send the owner packet or materials they gave you. Follow the contract instructions as to where to send the letter. The date you mail it out or time stamped by the US Postal service if it is in the rescission time period is what counts...then the company has to cancel and refund you your money. If you dont do it in time you are stuck and have to get a lawyer or go with timeshare exit team. Be careful these timeshare companies are sneaky they give you a more detailed contract and dont review it with you burried in these contracts are language that you waive your right to class action lawsuits etc... Rescission is the cooling off period that the federal government allows you as the buyer to change your mind I cant emphasize enough to read the contract and act immediately if you are in the rescission window to get out of your timeshare before it is too late!
I did this and they still didn’t cancel the RCI credit card they opened for me. This still charged me. I’m trying to figure out what I can do next. Sending and letters and calling doesn’t seem to get me anywhere. So frustrating….
@@314murdacapitallit doesn’t matter now, he wants out dude. If he knew it was dangerous he wouldn’t have done so. Why ask these kind of questions? Stop antagonizing him
From a former office employee at a timeshare company. Most owners are elderly and they will take advantage of that if they can. If you are retired do you really care about your credit rating? Just stop paying the fees. Send them a letter telling them you are no longer able to use the timeshare and will not be paying any more money. Yes you will get letters from a collection agency. But the timeshare really doesn't care because once you are delinquent they can rent it out and still make money. Eventually it will all go away. Ignore any offers from them. You won't get any money but timeshares are worthless anyhow now. Just cut your losses and walk away.
You were smart! It takes a lot to swallow the loss but you were strong and did it. I want to get rid of 2 of the 4 Wyndham timeshares I have paid off but Wyndham would say all or none. It's the high increases in maintenance dues which kills me over the years. I don't get that much in raises every year! It's just another way they get extra money out of the owners every year.
+Insights to Enjoying More Yes, maintenance fees get to the point of not being worth it. In 1985 maintenance fees were $265. In December 2017 $800, plus. Then add RCI and fees to exchange. Just not worth it. Most of the time I could not get near the area that I wanted to trade for either.
What Wyndham do you own that you don’t want? If you want to email me at my email address I don’t care if the world sees and junk mails me.... lol. It’s vtcraigslistads@gmail.com. I like Wyndham so send an email and we can always talk. I’m not an all or nothing person 😀
Thanks for the information. I own in Pagosa as well and I'm just tired of the increasing maintenance fees and willing to get the process going to rid myself of this timeshare. I agree that RCI's exchange program is a joke. There is a $ 200 plus dollar fee to bank your week and a $200 plus dollar fee to book your week and the so called resort's can be very disappointing and outdated. Some stays were no more than a remodeled hotel room to make it appear as a condo.
I have never owned timeshare so I am not sure how things work. However if your share is one week of the year how does $200 plus dollars justify the so called "maintenance". The other 51 holders are also paying $200 plus a year making over 10K for the company. My 35 year old four bedroom home doesnt cost me anywhere near that much in annual maintenance.
@@silvervalleystudios2486 Here is how the maintenance fee works: a very small part of that 10K actually goes into repairs of that little unit. The large part the timeshare company pocket it as PROFIT. That is exactly their gold: MAKE PROFIT. I bet this is so obvious that no one need to bring up except me.
@@silvervalleystudios2486 This is exactly how they make the big bucks! My maintenance fees for one timeshare condo in Kauai was around $1000/year, and they were increasing on a regular basis. This is precisely why we all want/ed out.
Had Marcus, was great for 11years, lk Geneva Wisconsin, holiday Inn bought them, my fees went from $50 a month to $130 plus I had to pay $65 every time I used it. I had to pay $1200 to exit for the paperwork and my maintenance fee for the year. Best thing I ever did.
One thing to note is that $285 in 1985 was the equivalent of about $620 in 2018 when you calculate for inflation. So really, the maintenance fees only went up about $205.
Great info, as I'm looking into getting out of my timeshare contract in HI, too, now for exactly the same reasons you wanted out of yours. Tired of being forced to pay the ever rising maintenance fees. Timeshares are such a scam, and most everyone realizes this now. That's why there is no resale value. We bought ours ten years ago and paid $14,900 (Paid in full now, thank goodness!). Our fees are almost $900 each use year. When we do the math, this means that we have paid approximately $4,000 each week to stay there! Ridiculous! It's a rip off! Our resort is also a Wyndham property, so I'm hoping what worked for you works for us. We will keep our fingers crossed! Thanks!
+Pop Tart I hope this helps you get rid of it. I enjoyed my timeshare when I used it. It just isn't worth the money spent though and the annual fee is way too much money. Thanks, for watching and hope you can get out of it!
thanks a lot , I have gone and had the same problem with Fairfield/Wyndam. We need to try this . I don't recommend buying timeshares and agree with everything you mentioned , it sounds very similiar to our experiences
I am on the Board of a Major Resort . Let me assure you that if your unit has no resale or rental value , you are up the creek . Beware of people who want up front money . Waste of time . Sorry
I'm wrong on getting out and I just got screwed to it in September of 2021 and worse mistake I made when I was in Vegas! Thanks for the video even tho it's years old.!
Thank you! Excellent video for people who have made the decision to get out of their timeshare, but weren’t sure where to start! Ours has become the “money pit”! We travel about 4 times a year, but our maintenance fees are now over $600 per month in addition to airline tickets. Of course we have used some of our points for the airlines, but it required so many, it was a poor use of the points.
Thank you for sharing, I watched this because of trying to get out of timeshare also. We should address this to the law makers to abolish timeshares because they are a legalized trap and ripped off, wondering why nothing has been address to this with the goverment.
I agree. Timeshares should be illegal. Apparently the Government or "powers that be" must be in on making off us with them. That's tme only logical explanation as to why so many people who really barely can afford it are suckered into this ripoff.
Thank you so much for your advice. Just many people trying to help you but they always want money. we need to have a movement to stop That sell a timeshare. He’s taking a vantage. I’m working American people. And no one is doing anything to stop them we need to come together right to Congress to stop this
Thank you for this video! After watching this I felt confident enough to call Crown Resorts where my mother has her Timeshare. I paid her current maintenance fees and faxed a letter from the doctor that she is in a nursing home and no longer able to travel. Hoping to hear from them that they will take the TS back and send us confirmation of that!
@@julie2673 Julie, It did work! The whole process was completed by April of 2020, about 6 weeks from the time I started. Glad to get that monkey off our back!
I was in the exact situation and circumstances as you. A financially painful experience.... I pacify myself from this stupid decision I had made years ago by thinking that the memories that was created at my timeshare was priceless. Aloha from the Big Island 🌴🤙🏽🌋
We have a similar story. We purchased in Las Vegas in 2012 and got rid of it through Ovation in 2019. I am an Australian so the exchange rate was killing us each month. It took 4 months to off load our timeshare but it was an easy process. I paid US $23 K upfront, and Ovation gave us US $4k. Not a lot but better than zero which we were expecting. We wanted to walk away from it. So relieved we no longer have it.
Glad to hear you got rid of it. I got nothing for mine, but have enjoyed not having to pay the maintanence fee every year. Thanks for your comment and for watching!
Good to know . It means if We paid $30,000 . Could try to ask for something back ? Attorney always ask $5.000 . Yesterday $2900. First time hearing about free exit .And you get something back ? Wonderful news . Going to try immediately . Thank you for sharing .
There are lots of nice Short term vacation rentals like Air B & B here in beautiful Pagosa Springs. Pay only for the days you stay. And now they are licensed by the county.
Omg thank you so much,I’m been paying maintenance for the longest time that I couldn’t afford it ,after I called Sheraton Vistana and they’re going to send me in 60-90 days the closing papers to get rid of this ,thank you, thank yo ,thank you 🙏🏻
From a former Wyndham sales rep. It's a scam sales process, for a product that is actually a liability, and so, I quit. If the product was an asset, banks would loan as such. Yet, they provide loans at personal rates. Why? There is no asset to attach worth more than $1 if the sucker, sorry, fails to make payments. In fact, with a lifetime of maintenance fees, a timeshare is a liability. Banks are not stupid.
Thank you! Excellent information.Went to a meeting last night and found out that it would cost me $7.818.00 to the developer to get out of my timeshare.Reason of trying to get out is that I don't like the fact that my kids and grandkids will be paying the maintenance fee for the next thirty years.
I finally had to go bankrupt on my timeshare. I was still paying 300.00 a month and maintenance fees of 800.00 twice a year. I would not suggest to anyone to ever buy into a timeshare. Adding up the trips I did take, it would have been a lot cheaper to just rent in a regular resort when I did go.
Thanks you very much. I’m facing the same problem. The world has changed. Nowadays we have even more options to stay in good accommodations with affordable fees.
Very well presented and helpful video! I'm gonna give this a try with my 2nd timeshare. What a mistake to buy it! If I could turn back time.... Thanks so much for sharing ☺
Thank you so much!! I just got your video in my feed. I agree with what you stated about your RCI exchange experiences. That was my experience also! Will try your method to get rid of my timeshare.🤞
Thank you for this video. I was considering buying a timeshare for almost nothing on Ebay hoping to trade through RCI. After watching your video, I have realized RCI will cost me $300 - $400 a year if I trade. Bringing up my yearly cost owning a timeshare to almost $1200 - $1300 a year. At this point I believe it makes more sense just book a hotel whereever and whenever I want to travel. Thank you again.
I am so glad that I helped you. I had Great times in the beginning of owning my timeshare when fees were much lower. Now, I don't know why anyone would buy one. Thanks for watching!
As Normal As It Gets Yes I agree. Especially there are other popular alternatives such as airbnb. My family love to travel and I was interested in an idea of owning a timeshare. But it sounds like a lot of commitments and hassle. Thank you.
Thanks for your tips on this. I have been losing sleep over this for years!! And you're right, you're stuck to go to the same place every year! And the fees fees fees!!! I'm hoping this helps. Thanks you. No, it's never worth getting one and I don't want to burden my kids with this!
Thanks so much for sending this message. We have a time share with Westgate and would like to get rid of it. The maintenance and taxes keep going up and now we are retired and can’t afford to go much and our health is not the best now. I thank you for the message and information.
It was a white week, but the week before it was red, which was the best. My unit was also a big unit which probably helped as well. Thanks for watching!
How Ironic I also bought in at Pagosa in or around 85 , feel exactly the Same way ,You are 100% spot on. I am about to write my last maintenance check,I would love to have back the Thousands of wasted dollars back , thanks for the video

Our chenge completely since we purchase . It was my hubby idia. It became my torture . All services disappeared . Attorney ask $5.000 , no guarantee . Have different wishes and should go to same nasty please . It was wonderful with all treatment and intertaiment , limousine service , sports and art activity .And not a service at all for a last few years . Possibly they would be happy to take it back . We paid $30,000 and maintenance went up to $950/ week . Chek in check out 5 day stay. Back and forward = 2 days drive . Thank you for your experience sharing . Going to try.
My name is Lisette. I just listened to your message and would like ask you if for the first time I used my timeshare, a bad event happened to me in the resort and want to get rid of it, do you think your steps to get rid of yours may work for. For instance, in the resort, an intruder slashed my two catalyst converters and the sensors that cost me and my insurance over $5000. After that happened to me, I became so scared, I had to check out before my time. Please give me a feedback.
I am very sorry to hear of your bad experience. Nobody should have to experience what you did. I honestly don't know if you can get rid of your timeshare given what you experience. You can contact your timeshare company to see. All they can do is say no. The Ovation program is for a timeshare owner who is with Wyndham, who has paid off their timeshare. It must be one that qualifies to be returned back to Wyndham, like mine was. I don't know if your situation will get you out of it or not. It doesn't hurt to check. Worst case is no. I wish you well with it and thanks for watching!
hey so i just acquired a timeshare mid february 2020 . i havent paid a dime yet. i was mislead with their point system. They gave me a list and told me . This is how many points it will cost you too stay at these fine resorts for 7 days. They made it seem like it was a 1500 points per week. Yet it was per day. I only got 7000 points biannually with a $700 maintenance fee per year. So I’m paying around $1400 every two years for a 6 day stay at a hotel in white season.
+m56 Unfortunately, I don’t have the answer. When I bought mine there was a 3 day period to rescind. You are beyond that period. I hope you can somehow get rid of it.
My maintenance fees this year are 1,450 dollars 💵 with Westgate resorts and $550 monthly payments and I don’t want this nightmare no more I want to get rid of it I just got it last year in June 2021 when I went to Orlando Florida.

We had one time share per 15 years and in 2017 a big mistake we made to sign per 2 more time shares couldn’t pay the annual fees at all. This became a nightmare. PRIMO helped us in 1 year and we received the news. We are not obligated anymore to Diamond Resources Time Shares since June 2018. Be careful everywhere you go. In PR is popular now and they can tell you is not a time share concept. They lie to you! Cost me a lot of money 8,!000 grands to stop the payments, but still we have to pay for the Credit card Time Share resource. Any idea?
Someone asked me, Why didn't I rent out my timeshare each year? (for some reason I was not able to comment back.). My fees were so much that I would not be able to recover my annual fees and make any money or just recover what I paid each year. I find that it is usually cheaper to find a place where you want to go. There really is no reason to buy a timeshare. Most of the time I couldn't get the places I wanted to go. If you haven't bought a timeshare, my advice is don't. You will likely regret it.
+diane pacific When I bought my timeshare in 1985, there were no points. I have not used my timeshare in many years. I honestly do know anything about how the points work,
I sent my TS a letter telling them I needed out as I could no longer travel after being fully paid for the whole thing. Have not paid maintennce fee for a couple years now. They have sent Monterey collection agency after me.
I am sorry to hear that. My video refers to the Ovation program through Wyndham only. It only works for certain ones that qualified. Mine qualified. If it is a Wyndham timeshare, then call the number listed on my video and see if they will take it back. Either way, they may make you paid the maintenance fees that were not paid for. In my case, I had paid everything up to date. I hope you can get out of it.
Its a big BS. Shame on them that they think theyre so smart to fool innocent ppl, ppl already have enough stress and now this? Im w 4 ppl in Hawaii 2 days ago we went to a trip, d guy from whom we bought it said hold on Ill give u guys a big discount, but only for 2 hrs u guys have to go to different hotels to check out, nothing about presentation or timeshare whatever that stupid thing is called. Ok we went that trip came back d next day had to go that place not know what exactly is. Years ago, I experienced this so I was aware of this but never knew that in hawaii all trips are related to this so called timeshare fraud thing. Anyways, when we got there, all 5 ppl w 3 yr old kid, they told us minimum we have to stay there 2 hrs. It was getting lunch time. I already told to my group whatever they try to do, do not buy anything wait until 2 hrs and we’re gonna tell them thank you goodbye. They were actually getting irritated when they were realizing that we might not buy anything. 3 different ppl came starting to act very very I mean very rude, he was asking a question to all of us do like this timeshare idea and I told very politely my opinion, omg this guy I still cant believe why I didnt break his chin right there, he was very rudely keep saying is this your job to answer not letting them decide... you dont like leave here, totally I felt I was a slave and have no rights to speak or negative thing to say, I didnt know that we ppl dont have d right to decide. He was getting rude more and more when he was realizing that he might not be able to sell something to us. And this one was dimond timeshare in hawaii. We were 2 couples there, d baby was crying, was hungry we had to leave, we were there almost 3 hrs, they didnt give a shit. Another person came starting again saying u have to sign and then Ill give u info. They didnt know with whom they were dealing, we were asking questions they couldnt answer getting irritated, this guy told my husband you two can leave very rudely like almost getta f our of here Im serious Im dealing w this guy and that guy was my brother. I even wasnt allowed to say anything to my brother I dont know I was almost calling police, I told them we were told 2hrs ind beginning, d baby is crying we have to have our lunch we have to leave, omg they were again so rudely like get out of here I thought hes gonna kick us right now lol, anyways ppl do not even go closer to them pay more for your trips rather but do not let them ruin your precious time vacation, these ppl are fraud they do not care about anything but ur money. I have something else to think about it 24 hrs I dont need to think about vacation. I have to work to pay tax right, I barely got off days for this trip my boss wasnt happy I was taking my trip. Anyways, stay away from this fraud and learn how to say NO thank you goodbye.

Thanks so much for posting your experience with Wyndham, I'm also with them, my home resort is Bonnet Creek in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, I'm sure you've stayed there, I'm tired of fees!! I have not used my points for this year, fees up to date, any idea if there's a time of the year I stand a better chance for them to take it back??

I’m gonna try this. I own at Vacation Village at Parkway, Orlando, Fl for 10 years. Maint. Fee $1200 now. Every other year. IWANT OUT!!! NO WILL STUFF. BURDEN.
I bought vacation village but in the Berkshires back in 2007. Paid in full. Regretted it almost immediately when we tried to use our week and had to pay extra RCI fees then the maintenance fees etc etc.. We only used it 2x for vacation, wasn't worth the hassle we could never get the locations or dates we wanted. I just stopped paying any and all fees in 2012. got a few threatening collection letters, I ignored. they dinged my credit but I didn't care. I refuse to give them another dime. looked at hiring a timeshare exit lawyer but they wanted over $5k.. from what I have read if you just stop paying they will just foreclose. I haven't had any correspondence from them since 2016. I think they gave up. my credit score is currently about a 780 and they don't appear anywhere on my report. save your $1200 a year and invest it instead!
It costs you the original amount you paid, the lost opportunities to make that money grow in a safe investment, and all the annual fees you paid when not using them. Dear timeshare prison inmate, you were lucky. The defult is to just stop paying and go through a foreclosure and having your credit ruined for seven years.
I am going through this now with my dads timeshare that he bought about the same time as you at Pagosa, I called this week to "Exit Program" which sounds like the same program as you are describing. They told me that Pagosa was the only property that Club Wyndham has right now that is not offering this program right now. His maintenance dues are now 1200 a year. We just want to get out of it and it just sounds fishy Pagosa is the only property now allowing it.
If you don't get anywhere and feel like they are not being straight up with you, give it a few weeks or few days and try calling again. if you got suckered into a wyndam place, sorry for that...here a tip...dont call wyndam booking your vacation, call t. he resorts themselves, cause wyndam will say .....sorry the place is full, when in reality they are renting them out to general public. I use RCI. I plan out at least a year ahead and of never had any issue getting what i want. My yearly dues are on $420.00 If you buy in a high tourist area, your yearly maintenince fee will be very high like this guys. Best advice, dont buy
You owed your timeshare for 33yrs and the maintenance fee went up $16 a year. Not bad! At the end of your ownership you were paying "$68" a month to use your home resort. Timeshares in my opinion only works when you are completely satisfied with your home resort, the price you paid was reasonable and your maintenance fees are reasonable at the started.
@@314murdacapitall Yeah, I think that's the problem with the OP's post. Saying "$68 a month" is very deceptive when you can't use that place every month. You use it once a year, the maintenance fee is that $800ish for that one use. $800, for a week of time, is about $115 a day. That's assuming you use it every year. I'd rather just budget this myself, toss it in the market (or at least some investment), and use it when I'm ready to vacation.
I've always wanted a timeshare. However, my income was too low to qualify for one. But, I did enjoy attending those timeshare seminars, nevertheless, especially when they always offered free gifts just for attending them. Usually, it's a gift card to a nice restaurant.

I wouldn’t buy one anywhere. It is cheaper in many cases to rent a place. Then you get what you want as far as location goes. Also, you are not obligated to go every year because you don’t want to pay for nothing.

Hello, I have a problem with a time share me and my girl got into.. We were in Vegas and attended a meeting, they made it sound very nice. We ended up purchasing but never put money down. After getting home from vacation and looking on the usb we were provided I saw a few things they failed to tell us. I’m already passed the 5 day recin period but I don’t want this anymore. Now that I have done research I regret doing this days after. The first payment isn’t until 11/1 any advice for me?

I wish I had an answer for you. I was always leariy about paying a company to sell it for me, thinking that that may be a scam. Unfortunately, I only know of this one way and it has to be a Wyndham timeshare and must be paid off. I hope you can get rid of your timeshare soon. Thanks for watching!

+Eldio Gomes I hope it works for you as well. Sadly it feels good to give it back, just to get rid of the annual bill. Thanks for watching!
Rescission is the cooling off period that the federal government allows you as the buyer to change your mind
I cant emphasize enough to read the contract and act immediately if you are in the rescission window to get out of your timeshare before it is too late!
I did this and they still didn’t cancel the RCI credit card they opened for me. This still charged me. I’m trying to figure out what I can do next. Sending and letters and calling doesn’t seem to get me anywhere. So frustrating….
@@Evangelistaadventures what made you get the time share ??? 🤦♂️
But wont that hurt your credit? Me and my wife dont have a mortgage its paid off . Just paying maintainance fees right now? We want out! Not worth it
Like he said take your losses and walk away.@dkd8747
@@jz5791 I have a Wyndham timeshare if you still are in the market.
+Rene Mailloux Yes the fees are outrageous.
Thank you for being honest. At this point I don’t care if I don’t get money back.

@@tanajames8613 Hi. Sure I would definitely will give you the name of the company that it is helping me out of that time share debt. Center stone Group is the name of that agency. There still working on my case i still haven’t got out yet. You can give them a call. 👍🏼🙏🏻
Thanks for the info. I'm going to try this as well....and I am happy for you...finally free!
John L hey john how did the exit go for you??? I’m 100% paid off but I still have odd years fee. Plus I didn’t know there will be a yearly fee as well 😪 I was never explained that
@@fonzieyee974 I just got word from the Ovation Program that I'm free from Worldmark, hooray!!! Call their Ovation Program at 1(855) 312-9041 for assistance. I was able to do this because my timeshare was paid in full and my maintenance fees were paid off each month----otherwise I can't guarantee your cancellation by Worldmark will be cancelled. Do try and call their Ovation Program for assistance anyway.
+John L Thanks, check out my newer channel the horton channel. All new videos are posted there.
ghnavarro thanks for the number!!
Found out this is fir if you have paid it off in full, not for new contracts. Any extra advice there?
What about points I also have shell which is also bought Wyndham
It does matter if the company 'takes' it back because you still have to pay closing costs.
I paid nothing in my situation, using the ovation program.
@asnormalasitgets2819 Ok that's great.
I hear Wyndham is crappy but my ex husband had three time shares he loved to travel and he would use them and we traveled all the time if you like to travel lots of benefits if you want to travel a lot if you don’t then not worth it
It is like anything, if you use it it can be good, if not then not so much. Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for this video. I am currently trying to help my mother get out of a contract. God bless you.
I sure hope it helps you out. If it does, please let me know!
Thank You for the information time to break away from Wyndham RCI Bs .
I hope you can get rid of your timeshare. Thanks for watching!
+Manuel Vela My understanding is that it is more the unit and resort, not so much the time of year. That is just a guess though. In my case, my unit qualified, were as other different buildings at the same resort did not. I hope you can get rid of yours. Thanks for watching!
The defult is to just stop paying and go through a foreclosure and having your credit ruined for seven years.
you sound like me when i finally sold my RV. Never buy one. big pain
A
three things i would not take if i was paid to take: time share, RV, condominium
@@carryclass6807 i agree
I am going through this now with my dads timeshare that he bought about the same time as you at Pagosa, I called this week to "Exit Program" which sounds like the same program as you are describing. They told me that Pagosa was the only property that Club Wyndham has right now that is not offering this program right now. His maintenance dues are now 1200 a year. We just want to get out of it and it just sounds fishy Pagosa is the only property now allowing it.
If you don't get anywhere and feel like they are not being straight up with you, give it a few weeks or few days and try calling again. Maybe you will talk to someone else and they will work with you. Just a thought, it may not still work, but definitely worth trying. I hope you are able to get rid of it soon and thanks for watching!
@@asnormalasitgets2819 Yes she told me to call back in a few months and see if it qualifies to exit out. I hope they will. She also told me that it would not be passed on to us when he passes if we were not on the timeshare before. Thank you for responding

if you got suckered into a wyndam place, sorry for that...here a tip...dont call wyndam booking your vacation, call t. he resorts themselves, cause wyndam will say .....sorry the place is full, when in reality they are renting them out to general public. I use RCI. I plan out at least a year ahead and of never had any issue getting what i want. My yearly dues are on $420.00 If you buy in a high tourist area, your yearly maintenince fee will be very high like this guys. Best advice, dont buy
Thanks for the information with this video i will be calling Hilton tomorrow.
You only go to your resort once a year🤣😂 if you think that’s worth it sign tight up lol
@@314murdacapitall right ...there's nothing good about Timeshares NOTHING ...he talking about it was some good times yet a nightmare

Does it have to be paid off before they decide to take it back ?
I've always wanted a timeshare. However, my income was too low to qualify for one. But, I did enjoy attending those timeshare seminars, nevertheless, especially when they always offered free gifts just for attending them. Usually, it's a gift card to a nice restaurant.
ovation program wyndham only works if you paid off the loan completely. They have another way to sell back if loan is not completely paided. I am trying to do that.

How it going so far with the other way?
@@trentcoley3032 yeah the way that they told me was not the way that actually happens. It was a pay me now and then "maybe" we can talk about it. They refuse to give me a number for a payoff.
i would never consider a timeshare anywhere but hawaii. it’s the only place i would consider constantly coming back to
I wouldn’t buy one anywhere. It is cheaper in many cases to rent a place. Then you get what you want as far as location goes. Also, you are not obligated to go every year because you don’t want to pay for nothing.
