ChatGPT and other AI systems developed by Open AI and other companies sound like a great move forward in technology. ChatGPT alone can make tasks that normally took hours, take only seconds. ChatGPT also has the ability to be creative for us in writing, coding, information compiling, research, and so much more. But will the use of ChatGPT and other AI platforms cause us to become lazy at creating? Will there be copyright issues? Will we lose jobs to AI?
In this video, we'll be talking all things ChatGPT, AI, the future, and some of the cool and scary aspects of this newly developing AI technology.

Nice info... This morning I saw info about 11 Labs Voice Recording AI. Very creepy stuff... I can see how this can be cool but at the same time I can imagine all the ways this can be abused, to get someone banned, breakups, ppl getting fired from work because of malicious intent. Very scary times. Even companies won't have to pay and hire voice actors they can just use AI. Weird times we live in.

Yeah, the possibilities are really endless with what may be able to be done with AI. The faking of things is a whole other topic we didn't even really get into but defintiely an even darker potential there. That's why it's wise if those types of technologies aren't released until there are some types of security measures in place. It's going to be very strange in the coming years. haha

Great video as always! I think we are still a bit of a way off from this having a major impact or concern, but I see us on the path of it being a concern down the road. Wise words from Ian Malcolm we should always remember: "Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should."

Thanks so much!!! And that's a great quote I've heard before but I really think is super valid when it comes to this subject. And as much as I'd liek to think we still have time before all this really becomes part of our everyday lives, I have a feeling we're looking at 5 to 10 years and it'll be the standard.

The scary part is as they advance AI one day will come where it can drive semitrucks and adapt to weather. They say it's only 40years away but I'm thinking less

Yeah, I think it'll be less than I an 40 years. Technology is developing so fast that it may not event need half that time.

I think the next step is a general AI, which is... wild.

Great Video as always! Me and my brother have been experimenting a lot with ChatGPT the last few weeks and to your point about using AI to write books, I actually used ChatGPT to write a structure for a future book idea I have. My brother, on the other hand, being someone who rates movies 1-10 everytime he watches one used it to create descriptions for his ratings and he posted it on Reddit.

Thanks so much! And those are some awesome ways to use this new tech. Also some good examples of how AI can be very useful. Thanks so much for sharing and for your insights into it! It'll be interesting to see what comes of it!

I'm worried about the future because AI will continue to control more and more of our lives, people will become dumber and dumber, I remember a video not long ago where a small kid was doing his math homework and asking Alexa to solve the problems for him, it was scary, at which point we will push all of this, movies like Walee and I Robot will become a reality, and I'm worried about my kids' future and their future kids' future, in like 20-30 years. AI should help us rather than control us. BTW amazing video I like this type of videos, you are the best!

That's why it's important for us to really think through how we want to approach this new technology frontier and how much we want to rely on it for things. Unfortunately people get so excited that the prudent approach is often thrown out the window. It'll be interesting to see what ends up happening.

Lots of good info and we are definitely heading for a very different looking world and change is always uncomfortable. What we need to keep in mind and in practice, no matter what, is seek God first and love one another. We'll either make it through, or gain eternity a little earlier than we expected. A statement like that always gets me thinking about how dark it sounds unless you are a believer. But is it really darker than a future where we, as the human race, bring about our own destruction through a twisted need to gain power over life itself?
P.S. Person of Interest is definitely an interesting show!
