Looks like you got a winner! I did the same for my Clerk and had CK pick for me. I'll be waiting a few more days for mine to arrive. It'll be my first stag and first wharncliff.
Thanks, for the video Jeff. That guest knife was the Beagle, in case anybody watching was wondering. I really like that clerk & stag. Sure wish it had a shield on it.
I am so glad I got a bunch of GEC stag knives back when they came with shields.........because NOW.....they are even more special. The "Genuine Stag" were the only ones without the shield, but the shield came as a separate hat pin.
Howabouthetruth: Ive been trying to buy the older ones to. Eventually, the price will jump on them. Could the hat pin shields be used as real shields if the covers were re-covered?
Jeff iam a new sub and just starting out collecting knives and iam being drawn very heavily into these traditional knives.can I just say you have a very eloquent informative and descriptive way of getting details across.i live in Ireland so these videos really help as our own brands don't seem to compare to us made slip joints .thanks for taking the time.atb paddy
Thank you for your videos Me. Bailey. Good information. I would love to see a photo of your GEC collection. I know it’s gotta be a sight to behold. 👍

I think you got a good one Jeff. Great video as always.
Yeah, it's clean ! 😊
I wasn't able to pull the trigger on one of these #13. IMHO the main blades are too slender for every day use. But yours is quite nice to look at. :)
love your videos
5:39 your main blade is better centred than the one i have.
The information you give is good, but the video gives me a headache. Too much in & out of focus.
