I'm trying to understand on how to get onto the view meter to show me the different levels of the tracks. I am unaware of how to accomplish this. Can you give me a direction on how to allow the meter to pop up please. I see in your video that Cubase 12 allows for this. I have Cubase 12 Pro and I would to understand on how to accomplish viewing the new display meters.
If there a video showing exactly how to go through the process of updating and losing the dongle? I want to upgrade but fear it make be a long process and I only have 10 minutes between sessions. I currently run cubase at a professional studio using a dongle on a computer that isn’t mine but belongs to the studio.

Hi boss! I have a preoccupation ! My tracks are being re-recorded while I’m recording new ones, especially audio recording ! How will I get rid of it ?
After seen various cubase 12 videos i decided to upgrade from my cubase 11, BIG MISTAKE! full of bugs and crashes! takes like forever to open some times it just dont! and if opens is very unstable I've reached the customer support and after several days of trying everything and nothing changed they just told me that maybe its time to replace my interface usb cable or wait for the next cubase update! im like wtf? i allready told them that with cubase 11 i haven't any problems related to my interface! with the same setup my cubase 11 runs perfect! at the end of the day i pay for a software that i cant even use! thanks steingberg!
I just upgraded from Cubase 11 Pro to Cubase 12. Unfortunately, I don't have a dongle right now, and I thought it would be easy to just download the upgrade version, install it, and activate it. But do I still need a dongle for the upgrade? I'm tearing my hair, trying to find info on how I can activate my Cubae 12 upgrade it without a dongle.
You need the dongle to operate Cubase, it's where the license is located, the one they need to check in order to check the upgrade / grace period elligibility
As a cubase user, I think cubase developers should try to use logic pro x and apply some functions as logic. It's not understandable why you still don't put a rotary volume control on the track channel, or a better looking color theme. Black is horrible and gray is always changing the grayscale automatically. The inspector is the same as Cubase SX... It's about time to create a refined design. If you want to be the #1 DAW this way, you won't be able to. I myself will sell my license and buy Logic pro x until steinberg releases a really modern and beautiful version.
drum kit designer and track stacks are amazing in logic...just drag n drop samples and they are on multi channels....no need for routing...now and pro tools have ,,track stacks,,
With every release they add dozens of new features but they are not capable/willing to add a simple mono button on a track… I have talked many times to the software developers but they feel no need for it… I am using Cubase for 20Years now and am still waiting for this little button ;)))
I know it's not the answer you want but a simple workaround is just to put the stereoenhance plugin last on the chain and set to mono, just enable / bypass once setup, just drag to any / all channels and it's 1 button to enable / disable if you're look at the mixer

I agree...this is such a basic thing and should be available. I ve used logic before moving to cubase and having that mono button on the channel is so convenient. Needing to add an additional vst just to make the signal mono seems wasteful
Mac version is crashing a lot and CPU / Performance is much much worse than in 11. What a he** is happening Steinberg?! This upgrade was a big disappointment so far.
Steinberg should focus on features that are now standard with other apps. To call another mixconsole a new feature is laughable. Also fx modulator is a straight rip off cable guys midishaper.

Logic is grey, ugly and toyish. Prefer Cubase GUI.
And you can colour in Cubase what you want.
