- Foudation chain = 1/2 underbust measurement
I use 1.0mm cotton thread + 1.5mm crochet hook
My crop top is S-M size (chest 80cm)
But you can use any size cause my tutorial has Gauge
You measure your 1/2 underbust, then make chains = 1/2 Underbust measurement to begin the back. For the front you do the same as the back till row 9, then increase till you get your 1/2 Bust measurement (I increase 4 times at these rows: 10, 15, 20, 25)

Since the orange crop top is more stretchy, will it change the way I have to take my measurements?
Just measure your underbust circumference and follow the tutorial. The orange top is not much stretchy.
How many chains should I do for an 11 year old???
Just measure her underbust circumference. Make chain = 1/2 her underbust circumference
For exp: my underbust circumference is 36cm so I make 18cm long chain

3:06 1punto medio alto en la cuarta cadena
3:18 1 medio punto alto en cada cadena, total en esta vuelta: 98 medios puntos altos
3:50 2 cadenas, voltee
3:59 1 medio punto alto en el cuarto espacio (tomando solo la parte posterior del punto)
4:21 1 medio punto alto en cada espacio (tomando solo la parte posterior del punto)
4:33 total: 98 medio puntos altos (tomando solo la parte posterior del punto)
4:43 ahora voy a tejer tomando todo el punto
6:23 repita la vuelta 2 hasta conseguir el largo deseado
7:06 29 vueltas
7:17 el frente
7:21 repita la vuelta 1 a la 9 de la espalda
8:06 vuelta 10: vuelta de aumentos
8:18 2 cadenas, voltee
8:35 1 medio punto alto en el tercer espacio
9:00 1 medio punto alto en cada espacio, excepto el último espacio
9:15 2 medio puntos altos en el ultimo espacio
9:37 total: 100 medio puntos altos
9:44 haremos 2 aumentos en la vuelta 10 (1 en el primer espacio y 1 en el último espacio)
9:54 vuelta 11: no aumentar
9:59 2 cadenas, voltee
10:05 1 medio punto alto en el cuarto espacio (como en las vueltas 1-9)
10:23 1 medio punto alto en cada espacio hasta el final (total 100 medio puntos altos)
10:35 +aumenté en 4 vueltas (vuelta 10/15/20/25) +puedes hacer menos o más vueltas de aumentos hasta obtener una medida que llegue hasta la mitad del pecho
11:00 saltearemos 6 espacios, no hacer nada
11:04 haremos primero un lado (50 espacios)
11:13 2 cadenas, voltee
11:22 en el 4to y 5to punto haremos una disminución: 2 medios puntos altos juntos

How much yarn would it take to make this with the thread into a tanktop I was thinking maybe two balls of the thread what do you think??

What is the weight of your yarn and what hook size you use? Thanks trying to make one
you can use cotton thread size 10 + 1.5mm hook like me, or any size of yarn and hook you like
