    1. Isolation transformer to get clean power from the ATTO3
    2. Generator input and transfer switch installed
    3. Decide which circuits you want to run from the ATTO3 for sparky to configure.
A basic setup wouldn’t apply AC or stove, due to overload on the ATTO3.
I did a bit of reading after watching your video twice. Is that about right?
Thanks for the video. Really appreciate your channel

    Thanks, some good hints.
I would definitely NOT use an iron core isolation transformer with an Atto3. This is because of the high inductive load this presents to the Atto's inverters. If anything goes wrong this could easily damage the Atto inverter output semi conductors. Additionally, if there is even the tiniest assymetry in the Atto's output wave form, an iron core transformer can easily 'saturate' causing overheating and ultimately fire.
If you are going to isolate use only a switchmode transforming devices.
In an off grid situation the safest and most reliable approach would be to plug a switch mode charger (no more than 1.5KW, 250V 6A) into the Attos v2l output and use that to charge the home lighting battery, these are typically 12, 24, 32, or 48Volts.
To go the other way and charge the Atto from the house battery simply plug the Atto's charger into the off grid homes 240V GPO. As long as it is rated at least 3KW you will get a slow but steady AC charge.
I have tried this with my own off grid home with no problems.

Ok, I am not an electrician, but I did check with an electrician. Absolutely work with an electrician.

What I am suggesting doesn't need an electrician as it is simply plug in, no need to get into the wiring.
While I think the Atto's inverter is likely quite sound, I would not be inclined to power a house directly from it for reasons you outlined (earthing etc), as well as various appliances such as fridges and water pumps that might interact incorrectly, with the potential to cause damage.
Household inverters used off grid homes are designed to cope with highly inductive loads such as some remote domestic water pumps.
If there is a problem and you damage the Attos inverters, the car could become undriveable and repairs costly.
A switch mode battery charger on the other hand is simply just another plug in appliance and as long as it is less than 2KW should be just as safe as the other appliances you see demo'ed with the Atto.
You are correct that the Leaf has a fully automatic interactive designed to replace home batteries. The necessary interface device designed and provided by Nissan, when I last checked costs about $5,000.

Thanks for the information. We have a small stand-alone 240v solar system (2KVA inverter) that runs our bush cottage that has an alternate 240v input switch for changing over to a backup generator input to run the house (mainly fridge and lightsr & fan all under 2 kW). Thought we would be able to use our Atto3 VTL if solar fails, unfortunately doesn't seem to work when tested with a couple LED lights on in cottage. The car output power turned off. From what you are saying a isolation transformer would fix this? Or is there another issue perhaps with the way the generator input is wired?

The issue is the weird way the Atto 3 produces 240 volts. There is no earth. Yes an isolation transformer will fix it and needs to be connected to a generator input. Best get an electrician to sort out. Tell them to check to output from the Atto 3 and then tell them to connect to your bush house as a generator.

sorry but this is not the best way for "Vehicle to Home". Better to use Victron Skylla TG 48/50 230V Battery charger which is charging the home battery which can be any LFP smart battery that is connected to Victron Cerbo GX. This case EV AC output is completely isolated from Grid/AC and fully legal too.
