Have a great day!!!
I'm back!! thank you again for watching the guide, sorry there's no part 3 😭 still hope you enjoyed!
ah I cringe so hard hearing myself in these 😭
@@MooYT_ you sound so sweet, don't fret about it. And thank you for making the guide. 🥰🥰🥰
@@kaiest_12 thank you💗
Omg thank you for joining me again! ☺️ I definitely enjoyed! ❤️
Girl I'm so so glad you found them, are enjoying the ride, and getting just as emotional about them as we are ^^ it's hard just not to be so proud and also want the very best for them 😭😭
I have my opinions about RBW… As you said along with them, Mamamoo also didn’t have the power/name of bigger companies and were often edited out or down on music shows. They did their own makeup, styling, and choreography in the beginning. Truly “Started from the bottom, now we here”
Btw, Seulgi of Red Velvet 😊
well, i think all moos has same opinion about RBW
also yes small company means a lot in sk, less people would check you and stan you, most industry dont care about you and look at you like you nothing and etc, disbandment actually something usual for small groups
I think much of the weakness in terms of promotion comes from the fact that their company is a talent agency, not an idol agency...so the vision was built around to hone artists' talent first and through that be known. Mamamoo's company made the biggest investment when they didn't prioritize funding promotions specially during their first years, rather they spent them all in building Mamamoo's overall confidence and presence by joining singing competitions and performing in streets and festivals etc. I'm not saying other companies are wrong to do spend on marketing but just imagine if as an upcoming idol you heavily relied on your company's promotions to gain fans or views, basically all that fame is coming from external sources, you as an idol is not getting the stamina or shame you needed to do it better than you did before. To earn it before you receive it. Some companies are just all marketing and not enough of the really good stuff that turns an idol into an artist. Mamamoo's got that the hard way. That's why they have that confident stage presence and charm even when their company label is not known. Their fame never depended on promotions, they know they made it there because of their own efforts....not many idols have that reputation. If to be famous is so important to them, they could've easily went to find better opportunity with big companies who could promote them strongly only like money machines but no, they stayed with rbw and wheein even went with a relatively new company...so you can tell they care more about their growth as musicians and artists. They rather be known for their unique charms and talents than as a group that's just "well-promoted".
I agree. It"s just annoying that RBW's weakness then, is still their weakness now. Mamamoo has grown, the fanbase has grown, RBW is no longer a small company, so why are they still not prioritizing funding promotions or even merch?! Waegurae! 😭😭 I just want a moobong thats been sold out forever now. 😭😭
oh let me answer your question, yes they have won since You're The Best! they have about 43 wins overall, I believe Starry Night got the most wins (10+?)
also the documentary isn't available outside of korea... but it has been reuploaded on youtube with subtitles! I'm not sure if those are still up though. it got taken down once already
Thank you for taking the time to check out part 2 and learning about the journey of the group. I came across Mamamoo by accident and their talented vocals and stage presence really caught my attention. But what really solidified me as an emotionally invested fan is knowing the underdog story of these four women, how they overcame to be an industry powerhouse and seeing them maintain their down-to-earth, humble and positive attitude. Their love for us fans is second to none. I'm so glad you've taken the time to dive into this group and their music. Let's all look forward to their upcoming comeback!
The kpop industry is very complicated and competitive with new idols being constantly debuted. Hence, no matter how talented an idol is, their success in the industry is undetermined.
I'm sure you've heard of the big 3 company (SM, YG, JYP). Recently, the big 4 when you include Big Hit (bts's company). These companies have the most influence and resources in the industry. Hence, idols who debut from big companies will have an advantageous starting point. On the other hand, mamamoo comes from a small company (RBW) who had no influence in the industry and had limited resources. Add to that, they are the first kpop group RBW had debuted. They had to slowly build their success from the ground up as they had no influence, recognition and prior success to start from. So despite how underrated they are when compared to their peers, the fact that they have established their place in the industry as one of the top gg, viewed highly by the people in the industry and survived the 7 years curse, is more than impressive.
RBW aka Mamamoo's company
I kinda like the fact that there were only 3 people at their debut. Hear me out though. Their company could have very well paid, or begged people to come see them even if said audience didn't really want to be there. I feel that by not doing this, these Queens started winning people over because of their talent and charisma.
As for disbanding, I feel that in kpop vocals are not top priority. So even though we know Mamamoo has incredible experience vocals, most would rather have those loud beat drops or choreography, (not saying that's bad. Nor am I trying to shade other groups.)
I don’t know if you know but moonbyul is participating in a show called second world and seeing her so happy and singing like she should’ve done a long time ago makes us so happy and honestly makes me cry every time I see one of her performances. Check it out if you haven’t.
Training cost money, comebacks cost money too. so a lot of nugu groups have a built in disbandment timeline if a comeback didn’t recoup the investment regrettably. It’s up to how fast they can build a loyal fandom so at least they get their money back to bankroll another comeback
end day ...need money to survive ...hence small company. Most cant fight against the top 3 popularity
These women is so talented yet underhyped it breaks my heart. They deserve more recognition than they already have. As for their first performance I had the same reaction to yours. Why can't they invite their family and friends to occupied some seats? The company don't even buy ads and fans have to go vote for voting sites so we can give them ads or promote them somewhere. They can't even post updates right and just retweet post from the account of the shows they were in. And where's the world tour? 8yrs in the industry and no world tour in sight. Hoping at every comeback. It's hard not to blame the company when you see fans can do better than them. 😔
Cried with you 💚💚💚💚
4:23 I honestly do not understand the general JYP hate. From watching him all these years, he's a genuinely kind dude and a majority of artists in his company are also generally kind people.
I don't know why she doesn't care for JYP, but I have seen clips of his shows where he is creating "idols", and he will kick a girl off of the show who is an AMAZING singer, and keep a girl who can't sing, but who is "prettier", and who he thinks can dance better, because "the singing can be fixed in the studio". Seriously?!?! That is sad, and what gives kpop the bad reputation it has. He should care more if the girl can SING, for his SINGING group. If he wants to make a dance group, then create a dance group.
Not a jyp defender he’s literally homophobic abd sexist
My girls started at the bottom and have gone all the way to the top!!! They got there by themselves and rbw should be embarrassed about a lot of things that they have and haven’t done. Ex. Not giving them a WORLD TOUR!!!
I'd work another part time job just to afford their tickets if they did a world tour. From what I've seen so far, Mamamoo gives you your money's worth. With the company growing more and more they should give our girls a world tour.
Shoot, I'd go see them even if they were just an opening act.
@@samiam6615 oh they do make your money’s worth. They give you a full on experience that will probably will never forget. But unfortunately their company is to dumb to see that.
I feel like they're not even focussing on making them that big. It seems like their company is happy with where they are since they didn't expect this level when they startedt
Nevertheless, somewhere I still believe they are trying to get more attention altho it isn't visible to us.
At this point, they aren't small to not go on world tour. Infact, they'll gain more fans by this! I hope they really do have a world tour!
I also hate the kpop industries crap (hence why i dont really follow it much, i made an exception for mamamoo). But i think there is a beautiful silver lining from it. BECAUSE the industry standards exist, BECAUSE the factory created idols were pumped out.... It created the rebellion of mamamoo. Mamamoo's identity almost sort of grows from its individuality and seperating itself into something beyond that of just "kpop". it allowed for them to stand out BECAUSE the rest are so cookie cutter. if not for the rejection for all 4 members, Mamamoo might have NEVER existed, and i would've hated a world without them together.
Mamamoo 😍♥️♥️
