You sir have explained this so well....you are better than 2 of my professors, and probably 10 other people that I have seen videos for them explaining this on youtube.. a small hint.. I have been trying to get a deep understanding of this because I'm interested in quality control and stuff like that.. and you helped me a lot.. hats off to your effort.. I can't reward you with anything except by praying for you every time I remember you :) Seriously.. thank you.
in an effort to understand 'beta' at it relates to stock market analysis ....i watched your presentation...i now understand beta a little better....thanks
Thanks .. I've major tomorrow .. and you kinda saved my life .. ThanQ .. Beta wasn't really understood by me .. but this is really made it clear .. Thanks again :D`
If you use the term "Null Hypothesis", there is often a failure to state the "Research Hypothesis" - in very clear format. In a scientific study, there is often a failure to spell this concept out completely.
One thing that bothers me in math classes is when they put up a symbol and don't explain what it's for. What is "a"? I'm assuming it's not the same as alpha... bc that would be saying that the null hypothesis would be the average of the entire population equals the probability of making a type I error. Which makes absolutely no sense.
acquitting someone does't imply they were actually guilty. Being acquitted of your crimes simply means you were found innocent of the charges brought against you.

thank you, excellent videos!
I do not get how Beta comes to be in that tail. Please guide.
I meant it in terms of making a type 2 error (statistics concept) but thanks for the input
