Thank you for this video. I have the same one so it helped me. Very easy, I cannot believe I put it off for so long. The stereo light was the only thing still running for me. Well, I was concerned about figuring out the radio dial needle light, but when I switched to FM, that still had power too, so I did not have to mess with it. Thanks again PS: Funny story, I actually rescued mine from a dumpster in 2009. Has been my main unit ever since.
It's a "wowstick" -- amzn.to/46BzBzt -- I picked it up a few years ago after being unimpressed with the motion-sensing ES120. I'd rather have the buttons to tell it what to do rather than have it guess based on hand twitches.
This particular receiver still has the incandescent stereo indicator. Finding an LED replacement for that indicator that doesn't really throw off the color was a substantial challenge. I found a supplier for the right shade a couple years ago and bought out most of their stock, so my current restorations now have LEDs for indicators as well.
For this receiver, they're 8V LEDs. Most of my customers like the bright white or cyan for a clean modern look. Some folks prefer warm white for a more vintage look. Check out projectblk86 on eBay. He's a great guy, honest and easy to work with. Has direct manufacturing connections and keeps a lot of stock in California. He has lots of eBay sorted by application; just search his store for your receiver. If he doesn't have what you need listed, contact him directly; he can get pretty much anything. www.ebay.com/str/projectblk86

What is that cool electronic screwdriver you’re using

Good morning
it's very pretty, are they warm white or cold white LEDs?
Thanks in advance
These are cool white LEDs. Cyan LEDs will give a very similar look as well.
thanks for you answer.
Just picked up a 2325. Would like to know how the interior of this unit is so clean. Did you strip it and what did you use to clean it with?

Is that an LED bulb for the stereo indicator light?

Here's a video the highlights the color problem when you use the widely available white bi-pin LEDs: ua-cam.com/video/lL_rB1PN3os/v-deo.html
Hey mate, total noob here. Would you mind sharing the type and specifications of the bulbs you used?
