    Do we need to oil/lubricate the contacts or the plastic or it removes anyway?

    Just remember that parkside batteries have a battery monitor chip, it asks the charger to supply a charge and it balances the cells.
    If you use a parkside battery in anyother tool or project and you discharge it belowe 0%, the chip will register that as a cell fault and will not activate the charger for your safety, I have 3 packs like this, I have not found a way to reset the chip and I have tried many times with many different methods.
    some Aldi 20v ferrex batteries have protection built in to prevent this, so a much better choice

    Where did you source the silicone kit and what was the duromor number of the casting silicone (hardness)?

    • @makeandfixathome
      @makeandfixathome  2 роки тому +2

      Try "EA silicones" - silicone RTV2025 / catalyst CA30 - Tensile strength (Mpa) -32

      just a plastic strip with (Sookwang) Double-sided Tape. (ebay) (ali...), but Sookwang is helpful but not necessary. Hot Glue is the point :) Greetings
