Tricky lock to single pin pick, but possible with a little patience 😃💪🔐 come watch me reassemble this lock on per on my side channel here: ua-cam.com/video/8CVh0DbnUaE/v-deo.html
Ooh nice - I've made an actual cross-section of this lock, video next week, but if you want to see the actual lock cut in half, here's a teaser: ua-cam.com/video/gC6JvgXZsqc/v-deo.html
Great job picking, and explaining/demonstrating! I definitely need to work on the patience aspect before attempting one like this.. well done as always Ash! 👍👍
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 very nice graphics, really helps show how it’s working! Now as mentioned you will have to deal with 3 of these per door 😃 You may notice that some pins will not allow your pick to pass but it will still push into them a bit. This is the security pins you mention. They need a little extra push.
Well done! I like your explanation re: why a thicker tool may work better in this lock. Got a good chuckle out of the tap-tap-tap at the end to open it :-)
Great job! could you do some more on disc detainer locks I bought my son a bike lock and my sparrows tool will not open it. when I tension it none of the discs will turn and yes I am a noob.
Sweet vid ash i noticed you mention how clean this lock is, worthy of note because the main failure point on m2002 is caused by grot and grease on the pins causing them to remain set and basically turning the whole lock into one or two pinner 😁🤣🤓
Very interesting. With that sleeve/sheath part pointed out i can see how the bigger end provides the pull protection. Odd way of implementing the whole thing, but somehow lovely. Makes it really servicable. Btw.: Amazing how quickly you can find parts that 'escaped' during a gutting. Can you share some tips regarding the bench and surrounding to help with that (other than having a clean space obviously)?
May I first say, well done on a great vid, good explanation with the demonstration Oh how to tackle this very tricky lock. A few questions, is it possible to overset set the opposing pin? Can you rotate the lock 180,or possibly 360'degree when picked. I have managed to buy two locks on eBay for £3per lock but With no keys. Are all the locking pins holding the core locked at the same depths. Thanks again, billbo.

There’s a video of a guy raking it. Takes matter of seconds

Sometimes hitting it is the last resort!
Well Done on the open LN.
A very interesting lock to say the least.
Thanks 🙏

Yes, I’ve been told this was an old lock, but as you could see, it’s super clean!
Thanks for this vid 👍

I have a large plastic floor mat for my office chair. It helps catch a lot of escapees!
Thats crazy Ash, have u ever seen 3 of those on a single door?
I have not. Imagine the cost!!
What's the safety pin actually do I haven't seen an exploration yet
Which do you mean?
@@LockNoob thanks for the reply mate. I did do some research and found out what security pins do and how they work

You would have to use a plug spinner to go past 180 so take care. Yes you can overset
👏👏👏👏👏👏🥇🥇👍👍
Thanks 🙏
Misleading title - you were dual pin picking! DPP alert🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨
You got me!
Just destroy the door instead of the lock!🤓👍
