MOZART MOMENTUM 1785 / 1786
In 1785 and 1786, Mozart wrote a series of masterpieces reinventing the nature of the piano concerto. In this period, he began to re-examine the roles of the soloist and the orchestra, developing aspects of communication and dialogue between the two entities in a way that had not been heard before. Mozart Momentum 1785 is the first of two releases exploring those especially remarkable years in the history of classical music.
Following three cancelled tours, Leif Ove Andsnes and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra were finally able to meet and record the first album for this new project in November 2020. Although Covid restrictions meant that they had to record with social distancing measures in place and without audience, the experience of performing together again in the Berlin Philharmonie was very special. In interview with Gramophone Magazine, Leif Ove Andsnes said “I would quarantine for a hundred days to be able to do this project! I’ve learnt to really appreciate being in this kind of space - with a good piano, and with great musicians around me. I never realised how lucky I was. Now every project is a gift.’

What a sad world we live in when extreme talent, precision, skill, and beauty has 500+ likes... whilst children flailing their bum around on the internet receive millions.

Только 6 мин.такон маленькое произведение? Или это часть?
It’s only a little part of a wonderful piano concert of 30 minutes about. The piece is k467 (Mozart) and this is the third movement.
