Got mine off marketplace. Same one. The seals appear to be attached to my top. Anyway my back glass is the same but I have a little strip of metal that matches the gate geometry. There's like these little square shaped clamps that go into it to bind to the tailgate and swing out with it.
@@sqhatr I just sold mine because I found a 1 pc Rally Top. My 2 pc never leaked and did really good in the winter. I just prefer the 1 pc look. Thanks for watching my video
That is an original dealer installed option. The aftermarket Rally Top is better, but expensive, I used to buy & sell Sammy's, I had a couple of tops like yours but couldn't get them to stop leaking. If you haven't done the heater refresh, it will make your heater blow hot. I just got a Suntop Fastback, waiting for the rain to stop so I can install it. I'm going to do the plywood deck(like yours)for security.Good luck with the top, very good video, thanks
Yeah I’ve cleaned my heater box, it was full of garbage. It does indeed heat up the cab even with the soft top on but in Alaska 6 months of the year is cold and I just wanted a hard top. I liked the rally top too but just couldn’t justify the price and shipping to Alaska is brutal as well. Thanks for watching my video
That hard too looks good! What’s funny is i wish I had a soft top instead of a hard top haha. But I don’t have all the hardware to switch it out. Because I would like to be able to take the top off when I’m out on a trail but have the option to put the top back on if it gets too cold in the evening. With a hard top you pretty much gotta commit to taking the top off and leaving it off all day since you can’t bring it with ya. But y’all have a bit colder weather up there so I’d imagine a hard is better for up there haha. Great video and Rownan cracks me up 😂 sorry I can never remember how to spell his name lol
Yeah it pretty chilly here even in the summer. But winter is brutal with a soft top. I do t really plan on pulling the top off at all so I siliconed it on….. and yeah, Ronin is a hot mess. 🤣
Surprised you don't have a set of JIS screwdrivers. I sold my doors years ago and have been looking for a set for a while that were cost effective. I don't drive it on the road and don't go out anymore in cold weather. Looks good. I haven't had access to a lathe since highschool, 40years ago. 😊. The "hello kitty" sticker is you... The
