Speaking as someone who bought Flares & Slippers as an 11 year old, have always had time for the Rejects because they really were the band that said to really young kids that if you wanted to be in a band you could do it. Bought Jeff’s autobiography some years ago and is still one of the best and most revealing autobiographies out there.
I had no idea how nice he is! I hoped he would be as down to earth as I always imagined him to be but crikey, what a lovely guy. Seems the sort of bloke that if you were stuck on a train or a plane ride for hours the time would go so quickly.

Great interview proper down to earth lovely fellow Jeff I was massive fan of the rejects went to see them couple of times at electric ballroom Camden fantastic gig and even got to speak to Jeff after made my night great stuff ❤️

Sex Pistols....ha.....Cockney Rejects, Cock Sparrer, Sham 69, the 4 Skins, the Last Resort, Condemned 84 were street rock bands I can relate to....no mess, no fuss, just pure working class impact!

The rejects are the only band i know that played Motorhead better than Motorhead . Bad man still one of the best OI songs ever.

I think he said they weren’t great live, but I might be misremembering. It’s a while since I watched it back 🙂🙃
They were actually even better live,I suppose the clash aren't what you would call easy listening, bit more complexed and deeper.
Anyway it is all about options,I love them both the clash and the rejects.

4:10 Like Cockney Rejects but Liam Gallagher imo is the best rock singer since John Lennon.Paul Jones of Free is also a very good rock singer.But Liam.Gallagher does have a very powerful broad strong vocal on stage no matter how he looks.
