i had a crush on a girl who was in a few of my classes last year and we would always make eye contact and smile at each other, but for some reason I thought she was straight and completely convinced myself I had no chance. but we flirted like every day and once when we were sitting face to face for an activity, she pushed her leg up against mine and we both kinda just awkwardly sat there LMAO. looking back, i think she was into me too or at least curious, but it never went anywhere because 1. I never made a move and 2. Covid hit and we stopped seeing each other in classes. now it’s really awkward when we see each other around and idrk what to do about that. plus, we’re going in separate directions in college, so we probably won’t see each other again. now i just feel bad for leading her on and making things awkward lmao. it also really sucks because she’s the first person I’ve actually fallen for and been completely infatuated with and i feel like i only ever fall for people i think are unattainable but ANYWAYS, if ur reading this comment, just make a move. worst thing that could happen is you get rejected and at least you’ll get some closure out of that

i’ve had very similar situations with friends… and yeah, didn’t work out. can be for a number of reasons why someone does obvious flirty things but it doesn’t go further. sometimes people are just players. sometimes if straight girls know you’re not, they flirt with you for some weird validation thing to build their self-esteem. other times maybe deep down they do like you, but because of really deep internalised homophobia, they’ll never be able to admit to themselves. those are things i’d suggest, especially if y’all are younger, cause a lot of those reasons are more common amidst teen angst smh. anyway that’s just my experience, hope it helps! it is very understandable to be confused about mixed signals even if you’re not sure if you have feelings for her

decide if you really want to come out to them, or if you feel like you should, and also make sure that it's safe to, because you dont want to get kicked out or something, and tell the people you're comfortable with too, even like if it's your parents, tell the parent you're more comfortable with first.
Honestly in my opinion the most important things is to see where you stand with your parents and family,try asking them about their opinion on gays in general,coming out is nice but it can turn ugly,remember that you are not any less authentic if you are not out,just make sure things won't turn out dangerous if you come out,if u need more advice i'm here
Also, it'd be really helpful to have friends by your side to talk to and find other kind of support. It may not be a good time but remember that you'll be fine.

First of all pretty late but that's okay. Second legit I am so confused and don't really know what to do because legit can't really tell if this girl likes me or not, I get vibes and my friends keep telling me that she does but I just want to make sure (I know I should ask her)- but I just met her a few weeks ago. We were in the college's cafeteria and this one guy came up, sat with us and then she came up and our table got really big, now let me tell you this girl is legit one of nicest people I've ever met she comes up not knowing us at all and offered us some pizza (in the cafe they sell little pizzas and what not). We all start talking and get to know each other a little bit, and after a bit of talking I then look at her and compliment her on her smile (she legit has the cutest dimples ever, her smile is so contagious and cute)- she then says "I was thinking the same about your smile." She compliments my smile (no joke I'm kind of self-conscious about my smile kind of so that actually made my day), and we both get kind of giggly and what not- we then say bye and then next week comes around, she comes over and sits with us again and we all talk- I finally get the courage and ask her for her phone number after that she calls herself to make sure we got each other's numbers and what not. After a couple days of kind of texting she actually asks if I want to come play volleyball with her (now just again letting you know this was like a week after knowing each other), I tell her sure and if I'm able to get in the gym without my ID (you need an ID to get in I was wondering if I could just use my student number), she starts asking around- after class I get over there and she's waiting for me outside the gym. She tells me that I cannot get in with my number but she can go get a guest pass for $5, I'm just like "Are you sure?" She says yes and legit runs up the stairs to go get it (I'm kind of stunned because of how fast she left and came back), I ask if I should pay her back she tells me no, it's okay. We get in and play volleyball (just letting y'all know not my favorite sport and I was kind of sucking) though every time I served and or hit the ball she was always clapping and smiling at me telling me I'm doing a good job, after playing a bit we help clean up and we talk a bit more (there's a lot more to it but it'll get longer than it already is), now after that day it was spring break (she was also talking to me about some serious stuff as well). And I remember it was on the Weekend I'm pretty sure we legit talked for a good six hours just having a conversation, showing each other our pet(s), a baby picture, I complimented her multiple times and she was saying "You're making me blush" (she was also complimenting me a little bit), we also were making each other laugh a lot during that time as well, we continue to talk a bit over the break and then we finally get back to school. Tuesday (before I got to school I actually used a cute little pickup line and she tells me that I flatter her and I'm too sweet) I see her she comes over and sits by us again (legit offers us some of her sandwich), I try giving her the $5 because I legit want to give it back because I kind of feel bad and she says "It's okay, it was only $5 plus it was worth it- it was very fun." Or something along those lines (the way my heart skipped a beat), we talked a little more before we had to leave (we texted more and she actually said that when she saw me that I was glowing when we got back from break). Wednesday we see each other for a minute but I just ask her if she wants some gummies or whatever I said and she giggled and repeated what I said and then told me "No, I'm okay thank you." We then get to today and actually I made her some sweets aka Gateaus (as a thank you and plus she deserved them for being so kind, and she said that she doesn't really get gifts often and I know how she feels so that made me want to give her even more not going to lie), she asked if I was going to come play volleyball again, I told her yes (I brought my ID this time), after class I get there (still nervous because I only know her, and she was playing so I just hung out on the sidelines for a minute) she then came over and is like "Oh hey! Where have you been?" And then hugged me, I told her I was in class, I also saw her do that whole Debby Ryan ear tuck thing once or twice- we again played volleyball and somehow I did not really suck as bad as I thought and legit it stunned me (while I was serving), and the way she was kind of hopping up and down, clapping and smiling was so cute! I also never mentioned we did touch a few times like a little arm touching but mainly hand touching and kind of long high fives, we get done and what not, I get home and we text even more. I also tell her that I think the people there were probably wondering who I was (because no joke I kind of appeared, and they were looking at me and pointing), she then teasingly is like "Maybe he's interested." And I legit kind of died on the inside, I'm just like girl don't be bringing men into this- 😆😭
Again we talk a little bit more, but no dude I am just kind of confused if she might like me or if she's just being really nice. I could be missing everything and or being really delusional, also just wanted to say Keara you are amazing and keep up the great work!
P.S. We also talked about how we dressed while we were little and she said her Mom dressed her up more feminine and wanted the little girl aesthetic she then said "A little too much so"? And we talked about Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter and Zodiac signs (longer story)! 🤣😂

Me and my crush were in the gym at school and we were both stood together. She then looks into my eyes and puts her hands on my hands. uh a few days ago I was at a mall with my best friend (I had invited her) and out of nowhere she said she liked me, while we were waiting for the food we ordered. I said "I like you too" but she didn't hear me, because right after that the thing that tells you when the food you ordered is ready started bleeping lol. then things got really awkward and we never talked about it again. but she knows I like her, our friends always make jokes about that (because they know we like each other), but they think that I'm afraid of "making the first move".
