I love how you have 31 years of paystub. I know I have some paystubs from the 80's somewhere but that's because they were put into a box and forgotten about.

Yup, I leveraged Etsy and it's working.
I tried selling my stuff on FB and then went to a local pop-up market a few times and just didn't have the success I was hoping for so I turned to Etsy. In 11 months I've sold over 300 items in 45 of the lower 48 states. No way I could have done that on FB or at local markets.
I could take it to the next level but I still have a full time job that I love and have no intention of quitting. I do plan on retiring in the a couple of years so I'm hoping I can establish a steady income that will supplement my retirement income until I'm not able to make my stuff anymore. Regardless, Etsy has worked for me and I'll ride that wave as long as I can.

Thanks for all the advice. I use draftsite for my plans but is In 2d. What do you use for the 3d in your Etsy shop plans. Sketchup free version? Thanks again
I only outsourced the bed plans and I think they used Sketchup. The other ones I just do an outline over an image of the real piece. Most of the pics are actual images I take while I am buidling it. Good job creating plans! Don't give up. If there's something you need to learn to progress, go learn it. The time will go by whether you learn or not so you might as well avoid having to look back with the "I wish I did..." things.
What percentage of your sales does Etsy take?
I looked at it a while back and it looked like a $10 item would have about $3 of fees, before deducting materials and time from the cost of producing.
Items are 20 cents to list, and a 6.5% fee if sold. So, a sold $10 item would be charged 65 cents. Here's their fees and payments page: www.etsy.com/legal/fees/
Howzit Ronnie excellent video! I have been in car sales for 30 years and tied and want to start a small buisness doing woodwork in South Africa....The tools and making the items are not an issue only getting customers in SA to purchase will be a challenge,got any ideas ?
I have no idea of the market in South Africa. If you make smaller items, I would consider a platform like Etsy since you can sell worldwide. I'd also maybe look at wood species in your area that are available which might be considered exotic, or not available in say, the United States, and market it as such. People tend to value things that they can't readily get in their own location more, in my opinion. That's my thought anyway. Try things and see what happens. Thanks for stopping by!
