Alrighty l am 14 years old and I love sanding, sanding can be very difficult to do, and sometimes allitle dangerous if your not careful. But I will say and ik it sounds silly but if you use a battery powered sander, they are allot easier to maneuver and they are significantly lighter and typically use less power saving money in the long run, DeWalt is a good brand, I prefer it over any other brand and the tool brand is very reliable, I buy all of my DeWalt tools myself and yes it is allitle pricy for cheap workers, it WILL pay off, don't settle for the cheap DeWalt tools as they are cheap scams used by people who like making money for the sake of it and will spend more money for less of a quality.

Just finished up this bench, my first piece of indoor furniture (I've been doing lots of planters and outdoor stuff), and wow it looks so good! I was planning on selling it but my fiancée quickly claimed it! I used dark walnut as well, and gave the whole thing a coat of satin poly.

I love how you have 31 years of paystub. I know I have some paystubs from the 80's somewhere but that's because they were put into a box and forgotten about.

Nice information. We can talk about diagonal braces and support configurations for the gate itself til the cows come home, but the gate WILL sag EVERY time unless you Tap Con the 4x4 post to the house and mount the hinges on that side of the gate. Otherwise, that 4x4 with the gate hanging on it (even if the post is mounted in concrete) WILL BEND like a rocking chair over time and will be a constant maintenance problem.

Have you considered building a high rip fence and a tenon jig that will allow you to run boards vertically and safely on your table saw? Nice build. I like the rustication, though I don’t personally like the style. I’d probably put the 45 bevel around the bottom, too.

I just built a bigger version of this for my wife to go on our stove top 2 days ago,same build just bigger,and no fancy angles and rustifications lol,but I think the next one I build will thanks for another awesome video brother 🙏🏻

Interesting stressing techniques. End result was pretty cool looking. Same piece could be made with the handles on the other side like a serving tray.
