- I strongly feel that the ZRS system is hurting the middle C and middle B riders. We are being put into groups where we are losing points because we are riding with a majority of riders within our races that are significantly better than our ability.
This channel is a record of my fitness journey from a Marine Vet with multiple injuries to a high-level amateur cyclist. Currently, I stick to a keto-style diet while doing my rides completely unfueled. I only use water and electrolytes to keep me going on my rides. My post-ride recovery consists of using an excellent amino acid supplement, creatine, and more electrolytes. Combined with good sleep, recovery cooling, and sauna techniques, I am on my journey to improving my fitness. I hope my journey in some way helps you identify what works best for you.

Mate, the ZRS race was hard to watch! I bet you were kicking yourself with that. And then, to trigger my OCD more you dropped the feather going down the hill 😮 good on you for sticking it out.. it can be lonely ride when that stuff goes down.

Great comparison video. It is interesting the difference between the two types of races. C I feel way more in control of a race than I do with ZRS. C-1 ZRL is also a beast of a class. Anyway you slice it they all make you stronger. Nicely done.

It was interesting to hear your thoughts about the ZRS system. ZRS has out me in a world of pain in A/A+… and I’m probably a 3.5w/kg 20min rider.
I'm a 4.3 w/kg 20 min A rider and my race score is only 615 (I have no sprint and ride full gas on the front too much, trying to drop people)
@@blackflamesolutions526 I’m at 700-730 with a sprint, that’s about it. Up against 4.3 on a hill I’m toast.
I think they rank good sprinters higher than other types. As I’m a terrible sprinter but I can easily hang in the front of any B race. I’m a TT type rider. My score is only 550
