Love your video. I'm not formally trained in lighting. I just learned by observing and applying by feel. Your professional guide has affirmed that I've been doing most things right. However I'm still open to ever evolving lighting ideas and devices. I've subscribed and looking forward to more videos.
Thanks Architect Jeje Maddatu. I have not seen much video on lighting design so simple, direct and explicit as yours. Subscribed and wish to follow your channel for more lighting design tips. Congratulations 👏
It's very good, and the role of each light is illustrated with actual cases. There are many kinds of lamps that may be used in a room: led strips, ceiling lamps, wall lamps, track lamps, pendant lamps, linear lamps, table lamps, projection lamps, linear lamps, mood lamps... There are thousands of styles of these lamps, plus Different color temperatures, 3000K/4000K/5000K/6000K/RGB/RGBW/CCT/RGBIC, etc., it is really difficult for people who are not familiar with lighting to choose the right product.
How much lux required fr a living room and which template option in space has to be selected fr d living room to meet the lux reqmnt as per Eu standard
If I may answer? Lumens is important. It represents the amount of light per lightbulb it gives. For a kitchen 3000 L is sufficient, for the living room 1000L is usually sufficient. More important is the light temperature ( kelvin) around 2500 K is warm. I always recommend a dimmer switch. And always different L but same K per room. The lux ( nen) norm applies more to commercial spaces. 500 lux you will find in a hospital for example.
This is such a fantastic video it gave much so many ideas and a great understanding on the different layers of lighting
