I got familiar with legends like Johnny Shines, Bonnie Raitt, Fred McDowell and then I stumbled upon a short track called "Break Train Blues". I instantly fell in love with it and now, when I know it was an original and you have quite recently revisited it, I can say that you are a blessing, for keeping this style alive and well today.

Most essential thing I've seen this week about blues/dark country/slide, I see alot of Robert Johnson, Its my wish to get up to this level, nailed delta blues, wow.
Honestly I just put mine in an open tuning and started learning scales and goofing around trying things that sounded cool. Marty Music also has an excellent tutorial up on UA-cam. I probably won’t be as good as this guy for a long time but it’s a start
