So many awesome things happening in this video! Showing high level sport dogs with functional ob is the first! I hate people that have sport dogs and claim they can’t/should not have functional “pet” ob, it never made any sense to me. Also, proving one of the most important things about e collar. It’s not a crutch, it’s a training aid. Once a dog is fully trained on it you shouldn’t need to hold it and press buttons every gd second, constantly nagging at the dog. If that’s the case, then the dog is not trained to be reliable lol. But, it is a nice tool to have in case there’s really big competing motivators around, like the slice of pizza on the ground that made Carson’s dog break position. Love that you kept that clip in there, some have too big of an ego to show that their dog is in fact an animal capable of making mistakes. I’m pretty positive that if his dog didn’t have an e collar on, Carson would still have been able to make the dog drop it and reinforce the correct behavior. E collar is just one of many “delivery systems” but it certainly is not what makes the training, that is always on the handler. Case in point, Carson was also rewarding his dog for good behavior 😂 This video really showcased how dogs that are reliable don’t need incessant feedback positive or negative, yet they are alway learning, so you can enjoy a cup of coffee on a walk without much worry and very nonchalantly remind your dog what the outcomes for both good and bad behavior are 🤷🏼♀️

I'm laughing so hard 😂 so pro you guys struggling with a simple walk 🤣 PS, nerd fact: eating snow as a source of hydration is actually a myth 😬 it actually does the OPPOSITE of hydrate 😂 "Eating snow is not the same as consuming water because snow is a solid that must melt before it becomes a fluid. Cells and organs in the body need water to be in a liquid state, so the body must work to heat and melt the snow once it is eaten. Because the organs must work harder to heat the ice and melt it, you will become further dehydrated rather than hydrated." So I would not rely on the snow & still bring/find water 🙃
My Shepherd always pukes whenever she eats snow. We have to muzzle her whenever she goes outside in the snow. It's annoying for her but I'd rather her not constantly throw up her food. 😅

I know the dogs are impeccably trained but in the city I am in we have leash laws. I find it amazing those shots of off leash in town. I have had someone say something when my dog is in my front yard off leash, he is not as good as yours of course but he does not leave the yard unless I allow it. I just said sorry opened my door and let him in, he is also a GSD/Husky and pretty tall boy so I know some people see him in a yard and have a different reaction than a small dog. The city they are in has leash laws, but the dogs are so well behaved and glued to their handlers that anyone passing them by would think they had them on leashes anyway.

@@Erin_29so yes they are neurotic.
@@michelleturner6865 ok, sure. But what's your point? So what? Lol.
Anyone else not a fan of his friend? lol like he’s a walking zombie with no personality at alllllll. Uhu uh hu hu-Carson laugh lol
Not everyone is comfortable talking on camera, and some people are just not big talkers. Doesn't take away from their personality.
Carson has assisted Haz in many instances, including the last National and World.
He also has a good, well-timed sense of humor.
Bottom line: why talk the way you do about someone you don't even know?
I love Carson
Personally, I thought Carsen was a perfect companion for this type of walk, he has a dry wit & fun personality, casual, down to earth, relaxed, easy going & with an awesome dog.
Seriously, I think you have a problem - why critise someone you don't even know
@ you were fine at “ I like him” it appears as you have a problem of your own Karen
