    • @FerretJohn
      @FerretJohn Рік тому +1

      @@deautrs79 No, Hogan didn't take it too far at all, if anything he was extraordinarily gentle. That was a basic Wrestling 101 hold, Hulk cinched it in to make it a bit uncomfortable but there was no way Belzer should have gone out that quickly. Reason he did was because he was presumably coked up to the gills, Belzer was a noted fan of the 80s party scene, the coke had pushed his heart rate up significantly, and when your heart goes like that and you're put in a headlock it tends to put you out like a light switch. Hulk let him go like that because he didn't realize Belzer was unconscious, most people wouldn't be.

    • @deautrs79
      @deautrs79 Рік тому

      @@FerretJohn I see what you’re saying but your heart rate going up because of drugs and your wind pipe being cute off are two different things also because Hogan is a pro he should know how a limp body feels when someone is in a standing choke hold. I could see if they were on the ground but come on man I could also see if it was an MMA fight and his adrenaline was pumping and the person is trying to fight back, that’s also different because you’re trying to purposely choke the person out when in that position Hogan knew what he was doing

      @josephcardoni5183 6 років тому +9

      He 100% asked for a demonstration, or he asked to have a professional wrestler twice his size to cause him bodily harm? Why would he tap if it was just a friendly demonstration? Belzer is not in the business and should't feel the need to protect himself from someone who is. Hogan knew exactly what he was doing and took it too far. As Belzer stated, he was unconscious in Hogan's arms, which is pretty evident. Hard to tap out when you're immobilized.

    • @justinz1619
      @justinz1619 6 років тому +1

      Joseph, I know hes a lot stronger than Belzer. But im very experienced in how headlocks work, trust me friend, I did Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 6 years. In class, Black Belts do demonstrations on beginners all the time, theres nothing wrong with it. He was expecting Belzer to tap him to stop if/when he needed him to. instead, Belzer the little girl just passes out, probably because he didn't want to feel like a wimp for tapping out on his own show, and he paid for it. If Hogan wanted to, he could've choked him out very quickly by applying more pressure, that's not what he did. belzer had more than enough time but failed to alert Hogan to stop.
