In the making: Air Astana’s A320neo

He's right, though. The aircraft in the shot at 0:33 clearly has old-style wingtip devices (neither missing wingtips nor sharklets). Does that mean even neos are initially fitted with old-style wingtip fences and then those are removed to be replaced by the sharklets? That seems strange.

Airbus lovers, please no offense, but I highly dislike the A320neo family. I hate that it's so quiet, the plane is just very boring. Just like the 787, there is no roar, no adrenaline, Soon the skies will be full of boring and quiet aircraft.

I agree. that is why I like the A350. The RR engines make an incredible roar unlike the 7-late-7 which is dull and too quiet for me.
