- A quick, easy, and free fix to the search marquis/baron browser malware. If it works for you, a like and subscribe would be a big help for me. Regardless, thank you for watching.
The search marquis would not go away no matter what I tried. I looked up how to get rid of it on my Mac book and tried everything for months aside from actually paying for the protections. In hindsight, it's probably worth it to just pay for protection anyway but Im cheap and can't afford to spend any extra money for the time being. This is the only thing that has worked within the last year. I can't thank you enough and I can't believe how easy this was.
Try erasing your hard drive this video does not work.

I rarely like videos simply because i rarely am on youtube for myself like that BUT I DEFINITELY GAVE THIS VIDEO A THUMBS UP! After a few years of watching other videos and even trying to ignore these search marquis i finally decided to take the time to fix it and I'm so happy i found this video and finally took those search windows off! They were so annoying and wouldn't even let me open attachments from emails.

I wish it worked. Did everything you recommended, downloaded Malwarebytes, ran the free scan, it quarantined 3 items, restarted my computer. Search marquis still there. Did you give Malwarebytes full access to your Mac?

The “searchmarquis” Virus, Won’t let me use any websites, It’s because I need to pay. I don’t want to pay, I want a free anti-virus website. I know, I could just pay it, but, I don’t want to. So, I can’t use any websites to help me, what do I do?
I have the same problem and have gone through the steps including running malware bytes. Bing still comes up as my default browser despite my settings saying google is my default browser. I can’t find a solution. ANy suggestions. Apple was no help because they don’t support Chrome. No help on googles support page.

This worked for a few minutes but every time I click on a link or photo it goes straight to search marquis
It didn’t work, whenever I open a new tab search marquis pops back up

You are the only one who gave an honest solution that works!!! I saw multiple UA-camrs suggesting to install TotalAV and it sucked! (I bought TotalAV and immediately asked for a refund) TotalAV is a FAKE AV. MalwareBytes is the way to go. I've been searching for years how to get rid of this SearchMarquis. Thank you!!!
Thank you so much, I wish I had seen this video before. If you still see the baron sh*t make sure you delete all the caches and remove unwanted search engines from chrome settings

Done a scan, reset computer and all. When it restarted, Marquis was still there and done another scan on malwarebytes and it detects nothing. Any solutions?

It says that I have zero threats even though I still have the searchbaron in my google chrome
Okay yall this came out of nowhere when i was watching twitch and then it showed me something about a software disk and then i tried to open another tab the thing showed up, i was scared my mac was hacked lol but then this man saved me and I AM NOT AN NPC this thing actually works:))))

This actually worked! You did something that MAC techs could not do. They had me download an operating system upgrade, which did not work. This worked. Thank you so much. Glad to have the nice OS though. A+
I have malware bytes and search baron is still in my browser. Scans everyday and finds nothing. Thoughts?

It didn’t work for me, whenever I downloaded the software it wouldn’t install and I’d get an error message saying download couldn’t be completed
It worked! I had to download the program on another computer and airdrop it onto the infected laptop... installed it... worked. THANK YOU!

I'm having the same issue but no virus software will detect the malware even though Its clearly there. It was on my safari as well but after getting this its fine but chrome just stays infected and theres no extensions installed and I even reset chrome and it worked for a day then it popped back up. I don't know what to do at this point but take it in for someone else to look at.
