- Breaking Benjamin Live @ The Staircase
This is the entire set from the TSB DVD, filmed on 6/27/2003 at the Staircase in Pittston, PA by the supreme GodOfGrunge.
"We owe a lot to the band for their hard work, so if you don't already own ALL of their CDs please go out and buy them. Furthermore, I'd like to thank the person who made these files available...You've been a great friend to the entire PA music industry. Remember to share these files and to keep spreading the word about BB and www.no-games.com."
I was at this epic show. This was a time where people did the "pogo mosh", when they allowed smoking inside & glass bottles in the pit, where the entire crowd sang every lyric to every song, where NO ONE had their cell phones out taking pictures for social media sites, and where there was truly a sense of rock'n'roll & community.
It doesn't seem like that long ago, but it's going on ten years. It's rare to go to a show today that's anything like this and I miss it.
Trekient they could always ban cellphones and make it a better experience for everyone, right?
now it was 20 years ago. wow
@@naturaltrees3997 They could! I would gladly oblige but highly doubt the majority of people would voluntarily lock up their phones for a show.
@@venomikon1197 Way to make me feel old! I was on their street team back in the day and gave out stickers & cassette samplers with Polyamous and Shallow Bay on it.
This is when BB kicked ass! Feel sorry for people that never seen these shows...NEPA!
Hey when it comes to Benjamin Burnley, once a badass, always a badass.
Yes agreed I wish I listened to breaking Benjamin when he was young my mom started listening to them back in 2018 and that's when I started to listen to breaking Benjamin and that's how my mom got me listening to breaking Benjamin
Many months on, and this is still one of my favourite videos.
Dayum. Too bad I was just only born in 1996. I would've love to have been here and been in that crowd.
Arwen Edhel Of Jotunheim 95 for me I feel the same way looking back watching this, being a local bb fan growing up as a kid
I swear, man
Back when Ben was a force to be reckoned with ..all time greatness at this particular moment in time
I love this era of BB. Remember it fondly; it's right when rock music was "coming back into style" after the late 90's rap / hip-hop boom.
Yeah nu metal started dying and BB started thriving, they absolutely slaughtered with their first 3 albums
In retrospect, what they were doing was absolutely what resonated with the listener after the nu metal boom. It was melodic, it was groovy, it was grungy, occasionally happy, and it clearly had heavier influences. Everything that once made it into popular territory was in there
its so incredibly amazing how all the people sing as loud as they can at the end
So jealous that they only play this when they're HOME!!!
I love everything bb does, but this is the bb I grow up on. Before he was clean, I am glad he is clean now but I must say he is a fucking badass when he wasn't.
Thanks so much for posting these videos. Of all the times we've seen BB live, none of them live up to their concerts at the Staircase. This night was their absolute best performance and seeing these videos brought back great memories of that night and reminded me what old school BB was all about. It's such a shame to drive by the old Staircase building and know that those days are long gone.
ailough I hear ya. I was at every show. My uncle is Freddie from the old 93.7 x (now 97.9 x) and Freddie signed them and got them their first record. Fun times
@@LWalsh0 holy shit - Freddie is a legend! I met him several times over the years when I would do interviews with Ben and cover the shows. Wasn't he the tour manager as well for a stretch of time?
y could i not have been older when i discovered breaking benjamin dammit i would have flown halfway across the world just to see them preform if i had to
I would kill to have been that this gig.
El Marco CFC same. *sigh*

Patricia Ramby it was pretty much a staple in their live set till the Dear Agony era...then it became a rarity.
it was such a killer opener
Best says in our area and especially at the staircase lounge. Lucky to see them blow up. From 3 members to world domination

I'm here somewhere! The staircase was the place to be... NEPA misses it
What the hell's with the Indian music at the start?! Aaron was really into the music back then with all the headbanging! Aaron's a dancing beast from 3:50-4:07!! Check out the moves! Michael Jackson eat ur heart out! "I love it when you fuckin sing like that with me man" - Ben!

Awesome performance!
"LET'S FUCKING DO THIS!"
amazing!
nice
If I can travel back in time, I'd bring a vape with me and recipes for the juice and introduce it to Ben so he'll stop smoking as early as possible. I fuckin miss his old singing voice. He used to sing this well live.
Zen Heiser How the fuck do you know? Were you at his early shows? They were right in my backyard... Don't talk about shit you know nothing about
@@ringboysforlife times have changed a bit. I watched an interview a few weeks ago where Ben is on his tour bus and takes a rip off his vape during his interview. I guess you'll literally have to stop being a fan then lol.
Dude this song reminds me of something Korn would write in the intro😂
