What is truly inspiring is the fact that he is extremely sick, still performs live, is producing a new album, and recently suffered a lung infection. Enough said.
@Paul N How is it any less special?? They're reaching out to their fans.....and the fans are reaching back...regardless of how the band goes about it, that's an awesome thing, those fans past and present, for whom they did this for, will remember it for the rest of their days.............nothing beats that.....
Cody Mativa They did that two years ago when I saw them with Disturbed, and they’re still doing it to this day. Tons of respect for Ben and the rest of the guys.
What about widow's, kid with out father & destroyed home's. Would they also getting thanks. City being destroyed, pollution caused by fire power. Please do not forget to say thanks on you way out!
Chester was just like this he was such a kind person. I meant him in 2015 and I told him how crawling saved me from suicide as a child and he hugged me he told me what my mother nor father ever said...I'm glad you're here. Rip Chester I miss you man so much you don't even know.
I can tell you at least one of those kids will go to his house and ask his parents for a guitar or a bass or a drumset or a mic... and thats fucking magical
THIS is the reason that metal rules over all forms of music. Guys like Ben taking time to bring kids on the stage was nothing short of the coolest thing ever.
So lucky to have witnessed this in person... I am FINALLY going to a concert in September and im scare because I dnt think can get any better afterwards
I know Ben has been sick for years but I feel like he has gotten so much closer to his fans due to his illness. He really seems like he's enjoying himself a lot more now a days on stage.
This is amazing. Those kids are never going to forget that experience. Just watching this makes me so happy for them! Ben is such a beautiful human being.
The KIDS! haha..One's like standing there frozen the entire song, probably couldn't believe his eyes and savoured every experience! hahaha.. The future of rock!
Yoan VDS it was a it was a multitude from mental health all the way to a lung infection but he still played shows and recorded the best he could guy's a beast
Do I want a guitar pick from Ben Burnley? Yes, I wish I could have a guitar pick from Ben. So many famous people are assholes, I'm glad he's one of the good ones
Callum Sinclair Billie Joe was completely fucking shitfaced at IHeartRadio 2012. It was his way of dealing with anxiety. Billie Joe doesn’t throw tantrums he was drunk as fuck and suffering mentally.
Marco Garcia if I’m not wrong, Billie was super fucked up, like, drunk, possibly high, and really not in a good place mentally and had to go to rehab after that show.
I appreciate the love for the fans Ben has wow. Those kids have been spoiled from this concert on can you imagine if that was their first concert. What a gift he gave them.
I'm not sure if the kids could really appreciate it if it was their first concert. After all this would be 100% of their experience so far and in a way 'normal' to them.
I had the privilege of seeing them live last year and before the last song he told them to turn on the lights in the venue and he stood and talked to us for a solid 15 minutes. Such an incredible dude.
Josh Bowling I'm going to the Tulsa and Wichita shows, 2 in 9 days...I can not wait! saw them open for Metallica at 6pm with the sun out, it was still amazing.
Josh Bowling I'm so pumped to see them headline with 17 song performances instead of the 8 when they opened for Metallica, They had the majority of those in attendance, most were old school Metallica fanatics, joining the pits and by the end you couldn't tell they had never heard A7X before. Most of them I talked to thought they were an emo punk band.....their minds changed after their set that night
Ben is a great guy. I remember crowd surfing as a 14 year old and he really loved seeing his younger fans get into it. Ive been to quite a few shows but seeing bb in 2005 has always been my favorite.
Wtf, theres 3 thumbs down, man theres always going to be that small percentage of "haters". Does nothing make them happy?! How can anyone not love this!!! Dude he's EPIC!!! \m/ Take care Ben and band!!! LOVE YOUR MUSIC!!! I thank you for your music!!!! \m/
I gaurntee after this experience those kids begged there parents for guitars and singing lessons. I love when bands interact with there fans like this. Cause those kids are the future
Awwwwwwwwwwww how awesome! Those boys will never forget that. My 12 year old son is a BB fan. Thanks to Ben and the guys for bringing those kids up there. Totally cool.
Mandy Vin That's a lie, and you know it. This particular performance is the best I've seen from them. Only a performance of Evil Angel from 2007 even comes close.
I saw this live. It was awesome when he did this. I remember he was saying at the beginning of the video “even sober you guys rocked”. He was saying before that, “it sucks they don’t sell booze here” 😂😂
He did this in Ottawa too on the 21st. One kid went nuts and Ben told her to watch the edge lol. "Hey look! I know you're excited but like... watch the edge... I'm not responsible for you"
I love when a singer/band/artist takes the time to do something like this. Says a lot about who they are IMO. He seems so very genuine & humble. Awesome band!
Larry Rodriguez If Avenged was still making nightmare albums they would be a far bigger band. Even still they are. I love breaking benjamin but Avenged Sevenfold is the ultimate band. Thier musicians are top notch like Syn Gates is literally one of the best guitar players ever
I LOVE Breaking Benjamin and I LOVE this video. Not only is it awesome that Ben brought them onstage but, it's amazing to see parents exposing their children to such great music. That one little boy was rocking out singing every word. I loved it.
I love how the kids just sang along .... He made these kids so happy and gave them an experience that they will NEVER forget. I’ve always loved Breaking Ben, but this gave me a new level of adoration❤️😍.
Those kids totally went home and started a band. Props to Ben for getting the kids involved. Going to a good show as a kid can change the course of your life, no lie.
What an awesome thing to do!! I would dream of being on stage with Boston while my brother played the guitar through my fathers stereo. Which was TOTALLY not allowed but everytime my father was at work and we were not in school it was on until he fried my fathers stereo and you already know what time it was then!! Needless to say never was given the opportunity so that is SO COOL they did!! Nice to see and thanks for sharing the moment!! Means so much to me!!
OK. I cried because I’ve never seen a band do this, and invite young fans onstage before! This was incredible. My cheeks hurt from smiling so damn much! WOW! Makes me love Breaking Benjamin even more.....
This man literally saved my life with his music he has taken me through some very rough times in my life I want to meet him in person one day and tell him what his music has meant to me this is something those kids will NEVER forget this moment he is such a cool guy
I love how even tho there are thousands of people there, he is RIGHT THERE with those boys. And that's gonna be with them forever. Idk if he really grabs ahold of the concept of how much this moment will mean to them. Forever. We love ya, Benny boy.
After listening and memoring every song u have since ur first aldum, Saturate, IM FINALLY GOING TO A CONCERT! Since I was 16 year old kid until now and for forever I have been singing my heart out to every word u sing. And my wife recognized the love I have for u and surprise me with tickets to ur show. I never thought I could have loved her more but I do now. There's no words to describe how I feel... I thought excitement left my life after reaching 30 but I am so beyond stoked for this opportunity... It's really a 15 year long dream coming true. Half of my life has been a dream until September!!!!oh... And btw.. my wife is 7 weeks pregnant and we r naming our son Benjamin if it's a boy!!!
this band kicks ass...new album is amazing. one of the best in 2018....can't wait to see BB and A7X in August with my 11yr old son LIVE in TORONTO..we both love BB and A7X... and Iron Maiden too.
WOW always been huge Breaking Benjamin fan but man idk lately its like I've been dead inside with depression, sick "cancer, heart problems, etc", the 1 year passing of Chester of L/P, a lot of shit but I have to say this blew my mind! It was so touching, I actually smiled and felt better while watching for the moment! I love it! Killer job.....thank you
man ben is so kind and awesome for having those kids on stage and having his parents involved he a inspiration for his music and him just being himself a down to earth class act dude hes excellent its not all the time where great guy like ben has strong sentiment admiration from his fans and his own band everyone loves and respects him
I love the kid throwing up metal at the end! Also this was so cool. They'll always be fans of BB now. I'm still a fan of theirs. A lot of early 00's bands have phased out but BB are stronger than ever and I think that's due to the strong songwriting. Their style really hasn't changed since the early days and yet it still feels and sounds fresh. Good band. Great Dudes.
Ive always alway always loved this bad and this right here proves that much more as to why I love this band. You guys are amazing and to honor the fact that the little ones are our future that totally rocked and made it that much more that y’all truly are amazing!! ROCK 🤘🏻ON 🤘🏻Breaking Benjamin 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
The kid in the Avenge Sevenfold shirt is pretty much the hope for my future offspring. Singing every word while rocking on time. Im so proud and its not even my kid. Much love to @breakingbenjamin for doing this!
Yeah unfortunately ben has been super sick and they don't know whats wrong with him. He must have been having a good night that night, when he came to concert here you could tell he wasn't feeling his 100% but still put on a great concert.
Man, Benjamin Burnley is living proof that there are still outstanding people out there.
Ben my name is Cole and I am a big fan
Seriously that’s a true fact right there.
Ben inspiring the next generation of Rock! So awesome that they did this.
What is truly inspiring is the fact that he is extremely sick, still performs live, is producing a new album, and recently suffered a lung infection. Enough said.
I hope that illness gets better, you can say he really loves doing music.
Whats he sick from?
@Paul N How is it any less special?? They're reaching out to their fans.....and the fans are reaching back...regardless of how the band goes about it, that's an awesome thing, those fans past and present, for whom they did this for, will remember it for the rest of their days.............nothing beats that.....
I agree with you
I was at this show and they also thanked all the vets, police and firefighters. Great people
Cody Mativa They did that two years ago when I saw them with Disturbed, and they’re still doing it to this day. Tons of respect for Ben and the rest of the guys.
this show was really good. i was so happy to be there
Love them. One of my favorite bands.
Im sure this concert was awesome
What about widow's, kid with out father & destroyed home's. Would they also getting thanks. City being destroyed, pollution caused by fire power. Please do not forget to say thanks on you way out!
Chester was just like this he was such a kind person. I meant him in 2015 and I told him how crawling saved me from suicide as a child and he hugged me he told me what my mother nor father ever said...I'm glad you're here. Rip Chester I miss you man so much you don't even know.
That’s so tragically ironic
Rowen Strife Glad you are here too. I've been in those dark places as well.
Gosh that gave me a good feeling
Rowen Strife Your post made me cry. I don't know you, but I am glad you're here, too.
Oh man...right in the feels. I’m glad ur here too man.
I can tell you at least one of those kids will go to his house and ask his parents for a guitar or a bass or a drumset or a mic... and thats fucking magical
you can tell which one too, lol dude with the pattern on the back of his shirt. I wanna know where he is now 6 years later
THIS is the reason that metal rules over all forms of music. Guys like Ben taking time to bring kids on the stage was nothing short of the coolest thing ever.
Ikr not even stupid pop and rap artists do this
Damn right
This isnt metal. This is rock.
@@vampirabby actually a lot of people do this
@@timklafke4712 not even, seen many pop artists these days don't
I was there and Laughed out loud when Ben asked the kid if he ever thought he’d be onstage and he said yes lol
So lucky to have witnessed this in person... I am FINALLY going to a concert in September and im scare because I dnt think can get any better afterwards
@@stinjudom my sister and Mom is too. I'm going to starset and see Dustin Bates! We can talk to him! I'm Soo happy but I gotta wait September 30
I just saw them August 22nd at jiffy lube live and he did the same exact thing they were awesome
I don´t know how Ben´s heart fits inside his chest. What an amazing guy, in all aspects.
Lol Ben is acting like such a dorky dad now that he has a kid xD.
Felipe Bernardes it's honestly so great, i love it
Felipe Bernardes "we're a bit more responsible now
It changes you I can attest.
Man those kids are lucky!
Thepianist126 Yea
Thepianist126 This happened when they came to my town too. I saw a few people I knew from high school up there and I was like WTF!!
Memories for life
That’s what I thought when they did it around where I live
Bruh you have no idea how crazy I would be going if I was up there with them like that
I know Ben has been sick for years but I feel like he has gotten so much closer to his fans due to his illness. He really seems like he's enjoying himself a lot more now a days on stage.
This is amazing. Those kids are never going to forget that experience. Just watching this makes me so happy for them! Ben is such a beautiful human being.
Lunar Phoenix seriously, he just gave those kids a memory for a lifetime. not something you see these days with most of the mainstream artists.
That was honestly heartwarming to me and shows how much they care for their fans. Love you B.B 👍🤟
The KIDS! haha..One's like standing there frozen the entire song, probably couldn't believe his eyes and savoured every experience! hahaha.. The future of rock!
right he's prob like this fuckin shit isn't happening right now this must be a dream. I shit myself if I was up there with them.
Yeah, well he helped lie to officials to steal my daughter then had me publically sexually assaulted.
@@blackdog1153 what the hell ??
This clearly shows how down to earth Ben is, such a cool person
My mouth hurts from smiling too much. Ben is amazing!
The coolest part is the kids on the stage actually know the words !
Ben Burnley and David Draiman are possibly the most generous men in rock. 👍 👌
Quickscope Kid I couldn't agree more
they truly are
The Republic Of Ireland yep.
David helped me with getting into rehab when I was younger
And Adam Gontier
The fact that the kids know the words to the song and are singing along gives me hope for this generation lol
Great to see Ben in the good shape!
EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS! And his scream is on point as well!
lyricsoboom he has struggled so much through sickness its awesome he still keeps on keeping on.
What happened to him?
Yoan VDS it was a it was a multitude from mental health all the way to a lung infection but he still played shows and recorded the best he could guy's a beast
Yeah, his voice is better, after his lung problems...
Now all those kids dream to be rockstars!!
Do I want a guitar pick from Ben Burnley? Yes, I wish I could have a guitar pick from Ben.
So many famous people are assholes, I'm glad he's one of the good ones
Chet McGovern fucking Billie joe Armstrong is the same as ben
My son's first concert was BB when he was 6. Ben came down and handed him a pick at the end. I thought my son was going to faint.
I got a drumstick from them that they used the same night when i went to see them, its so awesome
I appreciate the love for the fans Ben has wow. Those kids have been spoiled from this concert on can you imagine if that was their first concert. What a gift he gave them.
I'm not sure if the kids could really appreciate it if it was their first concert.

I had the privilege of seeing them live last year and before the last song he told them to turn on the lights in the venue and he stood and talked to us for a solid 15 minutes. Such an incredible dude.
So glad you were able to record this!!! The boy in the blue muffs is Aaron's son. ❤
Manny Blackstar The bass player.
Aaron from OM&M ?
Frankiie Niightmare No, the bass player for BB. Aaron Bruch.
Iron Head-Ed Jasen Rauch was from Red.
Mandy Vin Maybe do some reading. Aaron has been married with 3 kids for about 20 years now.
This just puts a smile on my face. Ben is awesome

Great moment you caught here thanks for sharing!
Only thing Ben forgot ear muffs lol.
they opened for Avenged Sevenfold? should be the other way around....What a cool moment though. BB is the best!
Evilcrawfish I don't think they opened.. it was co headlined I think
Yes, BB opened for Avenged Sevenfold. 1 hour set BB, 2 hours Avenged set. They opened for Avenged,.
no offence to avenged sevenfold but I'd rather watch BB play. Love both of them but got the love for BB!
Larry Rodriguez If Avenged was still making nightmare albums they would be a far bigger band. Even still they are. I love breaking benjamin but Avenged Sevenfold is the ultimate band. Thier musicians are top notch like Syn Gates is literally one of the best guitar players ever
Aveneged sevenfold is a good band but not really my cup of tea. But Breaking Benjamin is incredible. i wish they came to California more often though.
