This is the true list of the best movies of 2022, sadly I haven’t seen most of those movies because I live in Latin America and some movies never come
#sacenmedelatinoamerica
I'm not saying this because I've been a fan of Steven Spielberg since I was young but The Fablemans is my vote the best movie of the year. From its amazing cast, beautiful screenplay and surprising humor, Steven Spielberg crafted his most emotional movie since E.T. and The Color Purple. I'm already predicting it will get Best Picture and Best Actress for Michelle Williams who was amazing. Not only he made it as a tribute to his parents but to the people who grew up watching his movies. It will inspire everyone to become a filmmaker as it already did on me.
Too much up his own rXmp.
I fell back in love with going to the cinemas/ theaters this year. The Batman, Nope, Barbarian, Bullet Train, X/ Pearl, Top Gun Maverick, the menu were such awesome experiences watching with a crowd. Sadly I missed Everything Everywhere all at once in theaters though
Absolutely outrageous to keep Bullet Train out of the list 😂
My favourite film of the year was either Top Gun: Maverick or The Batman, but it’s more than likely Maverick. It was just a fantastic movie, both are amazing movies and spectacles.
that plane movie?
I’ve seen a lot of movies this year and most years Marvel movies are my favorite movie of the year but this year it’s actually Top Gun: Maverick for sure
All of those films were awesome, and amazing grossing films budget.
The batman suuuucked
@@erinlorca1240 maybe u r not too smart to understand a mystery superhero movie that’s why u didn’t understand the batman
Christopher Nolan loved the film plus Pattinson didn’t use steroids like others to bulk up. Other batmans acted in a different way when they suited up and when they were Bruce Wayne whereas Pattinson was batman all the time when he suited up and
When he was Bruce Wayne
That’s comic accurate
Everything Everywhere All at Once was such a surprise! I thought Maverick was going to be number 1 on my list, but then I decided to watch Everything and it completely blew me away - the humor, dialog, soundtrack, action and heart....

They always go with the least popular movies as number 1.

Thanks watchmojo for showing RRR in it's original language
Oh my god, RRR made the list. I am blown away 🤯🤯🙌🙌💌

Maybe it’s because I watched it at home but RRR was too larger than life for me. It’s good but definitely not the best from India this year. I wish Watchmojo get to watch Kantara, KGF2 or Vikram which I believe were better than RRR.
Honestly guys, if you haven’t watched everything everywhere all at once, do so. It’s beyond incredible.

Nice, strong lineup! There are surely some superior non-English movies that I need to get around to, but I was glad that "RRR" and "All Quiet" got some attention.
And yes, "Everything Everywhere" is the standard-bearer, and not just because Daniel Scheinert is from Birmingham. Go, Alabama!
RRR is just shit typical indian masala
@@kumaraanu Well, I wasn't too crazy about it myself. It was pretty typical masala, but still good enough to trick Westerns who aren't familiar with that formula into thinking it was the coolest thing ever. I just liked that they mentioned a non-English film, though "All Quiet" is way better!
I thought I wast the only one who thought this movie was a number 1!
Everything Everywhere all at once is the quintessential example of what cinema goers want to see and feel from a film.

I still say Maverick is the best film of 2022. It came back in theatres later in the year because it was in such high demand. Cruise’s best is 2022’s best. I could watch it again and again.
Nah. It's just same Top Gun movie but with Star Wars battle...as the *whole* movie.
I will say RRR is the best movie, it is once in a lifetime movie, a masterpiece skillfully directed.
RRR, Top Gun & EEAAO are my top 3 as well. Really refreshing and made 2022 more Epic.
Overhyped BS RRR. Oscars always select ch*tiya movies to be winners in manh fields. And RRR in top 10 ? It might have reached there because west is unfamiliar with the clichés of RRR.

RRR should get all the awards for cinematography and stunts that will probably go to Top Gun.
Well foreign films have a tougher time getting recognized unfortunately. If RRR was an American movie the Oscars would be all over it. Shamefully really. Great cinema should just be honored regardless of country.

I'm glad and proud of RRR movie, originally from our language TELUGU ❤️
RRR was far superior than all those movies listed for Watch Mojo Jojo. I added that to my list on my channel. LOL. RRR was BOSS and BEAST! That dance sequence at the party was mighty.

It was the first Indian to be a great success here in my country, Brazil. Great movie!
I am currently watching RRR its almost three hours but every minute fills each of my senses. It has everything. The Indian art is superb the dancing, singing, storyline, action, effects, history are amazing. It is 11 out of 10 for me.
RRR is the BEST Masala Genre film to come out of India in years!! It getting the love in the US is heartwarming to see.... Also there is so much symbolism and thoughtful characterization that went behind all the crazy action scenes, it's always easy to dismiss blockbuster films without actually looking into the details.

The Whale was my favorite. I know it received a mixed score on rotten tomatoes but I absolutely loved it.
Yeah but that's the critics rating. The regular rating from us normal folk I believe is over 90%.

What a phenomenon RRR is.
Robert Pattinson was great as Batman and the movie too.
Avatar proved it's not just cgi but emotional too.
And what a fitting emotional tribute to Chadwick Boseman in Wakanda forever
Seen better from my selection on my channel. RRR was fantastic and those two main men would destroy Patman's butt for being too angry, weak, and stupid. Matt Reeves was horrible. Same guy who gave us that deadly monster from Cloverfield. Ugh.
Is this a joke? The movie was a cornball stuffed with garbage. Lol what a terrible taste in movies !
From the moment I saw Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu, James Hong, and Jamie Lee Curtis, I automatically knew this was gonna be not just the best movie of 2022, the best two and a half hour experience, but also the best movie to come out of the 2020s. No other movie deserves the Best Pictures and all other nominations except for this one.
@ Humble Roberson, No I disagree RRR is in its own league. The only thing is it is not a western film so it gets less chances to shine. I do not see which movies comes close because it has something for everyone in it. It is its own genre and frankly Hollywood does have an adequate catégorie for it.
Most of the best movies came out super early in the year! It’s crazy how Everything Everywhere set the standard for the year and literally no movie came close to matching its quality (in my opinion, RRR came the closest).

Wow, a list of best films of 2022 without Tàr feels so incomplete. I have seen it thrice now and I don't know if I have still fully processed it.
I think it was a great year for movies. We got a little bit of everything. We got original movies like Everything Everywhere All at Once and the Menu. Guillermo del Toro’s “Pinocchio” was amazing. Not only is it now my favourite version of Pinocchio”, but it quickly became one of my favourite movies ever! It really hits you in the feels, especially when Carlo (Geppetto’s biological son) dies in the opening.
It certainly made up for Disney’s “live-action” remake which was coincidentally on your list for the WORST movies of 2022.
Really loved that movie (Guillermo Del Toro's Pinnocchio) and it's truly better than that travesty of a Disney live-action version of Pinocchio.
@@ajpat9620 I wish Disney would stop making these stupid live action remakes besides the original is always better and btw I heard they're making a live action remake of The Little Mermaid which is scheduled to be released somewhere in 2023 I guarantee that movie's gonna suck it's not an opinion it's a fact as soon as the live action remake of The Little Mermaid gets released it's gonna receive a lotta negative reviews
@@bradleystopher8725 To be honest, the woke Little Mermaid live-action is already doomed the moment that the race-swapped, tokenized and culturally appropriated casting of Ariel was announced, and if this casting wasn't horrible enough, the casting directors of that movie even casted Melissa McCarthy, who's not just miscast as Ursula (as McCarthy does not have the menacing villainous qualities and range to play the role), but at the same time, she's also considered as a box office poison. The negative backlash of that movie is shown on the dislikes on the teaser trailer (and no doubt that the full trailer of that movie will also suffer the same fate that the teaser trailer have, as well), and it's a fact, right there.
And mark my words, that movie will flop and sink, critically and commercially.

- Clerks.
- Bodies Bodies Bodies.
RRR in top 3 is so fulfilling 😊 This movie is the very definition of a great cinematic experience.
Nothing beats All Quiet on the Western front! A true spectacle, and the best war movie ever made hands down, the movie needs to win best picture
For the first time ever I agree with Watchmojo's list ❤️❤️
There are a few of these movies that I meant to get to but didn’t get to most likely due to being busy and there are some that haven’t released in Ireland yet, but I will soon. I definitely agree that Top Gun: Maverick, Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and the Banshees of Inisherin are some of the best movies to come out this year.
Other movies I thought that aren’t perfect but were still really great were the Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers, Ambulance, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (though that should have been a lot better), Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Wendell & Wild. Also I saw the extended version of Spider-Man No Way Home and while the new scenes weren’t groundbreaking, they were fun enough to make it worth going to.
I also managed to watch some 2021 movies this year and out of those, the best were Licorice Pizza, Belfast (they were in cinemas in 2022 in Ireland so they count), Ghostbusters Afterlife and Cmon Cmon.
The Batman definitely deserves to be higher. It was really amazing
No it wasn't, it SUCKED so BAD
I'm not into marvel Movies Honestly, More into Horror. but I'm sure Batman was Trash Due to the Fact that there are so many Batman Movies.
@@bbrules8646 Nonsense. It wasn't.
The batman suuuuucked
@@bbrules8646 maybe u r not too smart to understand a mystery superhero movie that’s why u didn’t understand the batman
As much as I liked everything everywhere… The Banshees of Inisherin was by far the best film of the year. Also nice to see RRR so high, sick movie!
I'm new to the channel, I like it
Turning red was actually a very cute cartoon. But that's my opinion everyone has their preferences.
I hated it
Opinions are like butts, everyone has one. Some stink more that others ya know.
It would have been a great movie if the characters didn't talk.
Wow, I loved all 10 of these films so much. This year had some amazing films. 2022 really was a great year for cinema.
youre being sarcastic right? i cant tell if youre a bot....

The fifth can be tricky cuz that where it can easily change to what people personally like the most like if your a comic fan Batman or old times norseman. Like independent drama fablemens, whale, or banshee. Than there war movies so quite west front like the fifth can be easily change. Not to mention if you like animation movies or horror than it will change tho after doing research most (not all obvious) has the top 4 in there top 10 and most top 5.
I’m gonna need y’all to show “Black Phone” more love than y’all doing! Underrated
I just watched both the batman and glass onion. Both just so amazing
As much as I love RRR, I am totally fine with Top Gun Maverick and Everything Everywhere All at Once beating it. Those two movies are the only ones qualified to top it I think.
The Batman is my favorite movie of 2022
most overrated movie of the year
@@Krackerboy901 nah, that title belongs to Top Gun: Maverick. Paramount literally milked that movie’s success.

Wonderful list! Movies like Everything Everywhere All at Once come once in a generation. The others are also stellar including the honorable mentions!!
The Batman was my favorite movie of 2022, Robert Pattinson became my favorite live action Batman ever too.
I watched " Everything Everywhere All At Once" since it came out but seeing the trailers again brought tears to my eyes. What a wonderful masterpiece
I hope The Northman gets a nomination for costume design.
Is it eligible for the adapted screenplay award?
@@amadeusmalonje6948 I believe it would be original since it’s not based on a book/tv/ film
As great as the costumes in The Northman was, it's not getting much prediction on Goldderby and it's truly unfortunate.
@@ajpat9620 I was surprised. Also it came out earlier this year that many people must’ve forgot about it haha
@@TimmyD3085 It's a shame that The Northman is not getting much awards recognition, despite being one of the best films of 2022.
