Just FYI the Eddie robot is actually about 13' tall. They have different versions of him dressed differently. He comes out in every show at some point.

All I wanted for my 16th birthday in 1986 was tickets to see Iron Maiden at the New Haven Coliseum in CT so my parents got them for me, Yngwie Malmsteem opened for them and I can say it was probably in my top 5 best concerts ever and I've been to alot!! Great song!!

Probably already mentioned, but Bruce Dickinson has been a ranked international Fencer (7th ranked British competitor in the foil), as well as a licensed commercial pilot. He actually captains the band's 747 when on tour and owns his own aircraft maintenance and pilot training company.

The EDDY that i saw in 83' in sudbury ontario canada was 40-50 foot tall and when bruce was singing on top of speaker stack grabbed eddy's head and pretended that he was getting head from eddy and e crowd went nuts

You mentioned how hard it is to figure out what Bruce is going to do next when I saw him in '03 the lighting technician got so fed up the show stopped for a brief moment he said that's it I quit and you let go of the the spotlight because Bruce is running around so much you couldn't keep the light on him the whole band is like that they're heavily into playing sports like soccer and other sports so they keep it really good shape that's why in a previous comment I said they are the most hyper energetic band I've ever seen because they never got into the getting drunk or getting high off weird s*** so in my age group if not a teeny bit older but better shape

This version of this song is a little sped up. This song is from the album SOMEWHERE IN TIME from 1986. I'm not sure if Bruce's voice ever sounded as epic as it did during that album. Although this is a good version, you really must listen to the album version or a version from Somewhere on Tour 86! Epic song nonetheless. Up the Irons!! 🤟
